A great trip. We were picked up on time at our ship and driven to Alhambra. The trip was beautiful. We stopped just enough to break up the 2 1/2 hour trip. Alhambra is well worth it. The guide was filled with great information. At Alhambra we were turned over to a local tour guide who was waiting for us. We were back at the ship in plenty of time. Our group of four was very happy.

Excellent trip! Not to be missed. Short visit to Granada first where we had time to visit the Cathedral and a wander through the streets and shops then on to Alhambra - this surpassed all expectations the guide as very good and was absolutely essential for the visit. Amount of time spent was perfect! So glad we took the trouble to go. The journey, scenery - everything was top class! Highly recommend Pepe Tours in Roquettes. Would definitely book with them again.

If visiting from the port the tour does not start there. We had 12 people from our ship going on this tour so they agreed to pick us up at port but the charge was 40 Euro per person for a 8 minute ride, very steep. Once on the big bus to Alhambra our tour rep was fair with English and her explanations were also fair. We had a 1.5 hour stop in Granada Spain and she did not wait for all the people to get off the bus so people in the back were panicked on which way to go. The street map they give is pretty much useless but fairly easy to find your way around, and a good city to visit, food , shopping, sites. the tour and guide of Alhambra were excellent our tour guide there was Bob, excellent English and tremendous knowledge

Our tour was from Roquetas de Mar to the Alhambra Palace and Generalife Gardens. We were picked up from our hotel on time and had a really lovely drive up to Granada with commentary from our very good tour guide, Guillermo. The Granada walking tour was very good, no shortage of tapas restaurants in the area for lunch. Only 8 on our tour opted for the Alhambra visit, the others staying in Granada for free time/sightseeing. The Palace and gardens are absolutely spectacular. The architecture is breathtaking. The return drive, by a different route, was also as enjoyable as the drive up. However, the actual tour around the Palace and gardens is a 'do it yourself' job. On arrival we were given an A4 double sided laminated sheet of pictures with numbers on it and an unweildy 8-10 handset. The idea is you walk about this vast area and match the pictures to the site you're at - not good. The place is very busy so you have to keep moving, it's very difficult to look, match with a picture, key in the relevant number to the handset, listen and actually get the feel of where you are at. We eventually gave up. There are a good few information boards dotted around so we read them, took loads of pictures and bought a lovely book in the gift shop and have ' revisited' the Alhambra and gardens in the comfort of our home. The Alhambra and gardens are much too special to miss out on the history and splendour of the place whilst matching pictures to numbers and fiddling with a handset. A live tour guide would make visiting here much more real and enjoyable for your customers but no doubt this would be reflected in the cost of the tour. We have travelled the world, used Viator for transfers and tours but this tour was a bit of a let down.

We only joined this trip at lunchtime as we were already in Granada. It was good to not have to queue up but I would have liked longer in the Palace and gardens
