Su guía que habla inglés le recogerá en su hotel de la ciudad de Bangkok a las 8.00 h. Salida hacia el Parque Histórico de Ayutthaya. Esta, una vez gloriosa, ciudad capital, situada a unos 80 km de Bangkok fue destruida por el ejército birmano en 1767 y ahora es un lugar declarado Patrimonio de la humanidad por la UNESCO. Un gran número de impresionantes palacios y templos siguen en pie.

Los principales puntos de interés incluyen las gigantescas estatuas de bronce Vihara Phra Mongkhon Bophit, también Wat Phra Sri Sanphet y Wat Yai Chai Mang Khon.

Podrá visitar el pintoresco Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon y Wat Lokayasutharam. Wat Phra Sri Sanphet es el principal complejo del templo de Ayuthaya que quedó antes de la edad de oro. Visita el antiguo palacio y Vihara Phra Mongkhon Bophit uno de los más grandes templos de Buda de bronce en Tailandia.

A mediodía podrá disfrutar de un almuerzo típico de Tailandia (incluido). Seguidamente, visite el resplandeciente Templo Wat Mahthat, uno de los más imponentes antiguos monasterios budistas. Este templo está situado en la orilla del río Chao Praya. El rey Prasatthong autorizó la construcción con la arquitectura influenciada por el estilo Khmer. Se trata de uno de los más hermosos templos de Ayutthaya y una de las principales atracciones turísticas. Vea el palacio de Bang Pa-In, el antiguo retiro real de verano de los reyes de Ayutthaya del siglo XVII.

Camine por los magníficos recintos del palacio de verano Bang Pa-In Con vistas a los canales, los numerosos edificios son una curiosa mezcla de principios de estilos europeos del siglo XX que contrastan con el pabellón chino y tailandés.

Una vez finalizada la excursión, le llevarán de regreso a su hotel aproximadamente a las 17.00 h

Our guide was very friendly and highly informative. Miss Supatsara Wonghong continually ensured that we were having a good time and that we had what we needed to enjoy the tour, whether that be water, an umbrella to escape the heat, or easy access to a restroom.

The only way to see Ayutthaya is with a guide and driver. The city is very expansive and without a guide it would be overwhelming. Rose spoke excellent English and was able to shepherd us through the archeology, provide spiritual context, explain the history of who built the city as well as the stories of many invasions. We covered many areas and each was more beautiful than the one before. I should also mention the amazing buffet lunch. It was an extraordinary day made meaningful with the help of our guide and driver. As I said at the beginning, this is the only way to visit Ayutthaya.

firstly about the company - this was the 3rd time i used Mam Holidays Ltd for a tour in Bangkok. Very professional and prompt. . The cars are very comfortable, driver is good and guides knowledgeable. After visiting over 60 countries and doing tours in most, i have found the best guides are passionate about their country/city, and the guides that work for Mam Holidays Ltd certainly are, especially the lady that i've had as a tour guide twice Miss Supatsara Wonghong Khun Aey. As far as the sites go, if you like temples and palaces this is a must from Bangkok. I've included some pics so you know what you will see.

Tour guide was nice and considerate, but her English was so bad we couldn't understand 90 of the things she said, nor could she understand most of our questions. There's not real added value than hiring a taxi and tour around myself.

We had the best time with Aey in Ayutthaya -- wonderful service where she and her driver picked us up from our hotel in Bangkok and embarked on a day long trip in Ayutthaya. First we saw the summer palace and then we visited three Wats, in addition to picking up lunch. Because my mother was not feeling well, Aey was very considerate about the amount of walking, and also arranged for a vegetarian meal for lunch not easy in Thailand!. Aey was also easy to understand, and she also played the role of our photographer during the tour. Highly recommended, and extremely good value for the price.
