Our guide was knowledgeable and explained the history, geography etc of the old quarter. Much of it is gone due to city growth, loss of Jewish community etc, but experiencing a sort of rebirth. The history of Jews in Spain should be mandatory to all Jews visiting, actually to all visitors, remember those who forget the past etc etc. The story behind how the old synagogue was found almost a miracle. Gives a nice perspective.

Our tour guide was Dafna. She met us right on time at 10am and took us on an amazing adventure for two hours. I would tell you in our opinion two hours is plenty of time by the way. Dafna is full of such energy and passion for the Jewish history of Spain and in particular Barcelona. From this tour you learn about Barcelona, Spain, history and how the Jewish people fit in. There is no way you will be able to figure things out without a great guide like Dafna. We highly suggest you take this guided tour. ENJOY!

A fabulous tour. Adi was a great guide. He showed us what was once the Jewish Quarter. He made the history come alive for us. It would be impossible to do this on your own since most of it is long gone. A most amazing morning!

Adi adapted the pace of the tour to our needs, and kept the tour interesting. He definitely knows Barcelona well and showed us sights we wouldn't have known to look for otherwise. You'll get the opportunity to learn more about the Jewish community in Barcelona today as well.
