El recorrido relajado de siete días empieza en la plaza de Tiananmen, que se centra en un ambiente más reciente de la historia de China y la Revolución Cultural del Presidente Mao Zedong. Recorrerá la torre de Tiananmen, el monumento a los héroes del pueblo, el gran salón del pueblo y el monumento a Mao.
A continuación se dirigirá al la legendaria Ciudad Prohibida, conocida como el Museo del Palacio Imperial. La historia de cada dinastía está representada aquí, en cuatro salas palaciegas; tendrá la información más detallada de la Ciudad Prohibida disponible en esta excursión.
Después de un copioso almuerzo, su destino final es el nombre Templo del Cielo, que data del siglo XV. Construido en las dinastías Ming y Qing, el Templo del Cielo era el centro de la oración, los sacrificios, las ceremonias y los ritos tradicionales. Our guide was wonderful - went out of her way for us as Tiananmen Square was closed due to the African conferences and delegation visits planned for there. She spoke excellent english and took us on a side visit to a tea house which was also great. Her local knowledge and knowledge of the history surrounding all of the sites was flawless.

Even though it was raining we were still in awe of the size of the Forbidden City and we definitely enjoyed seeing the Temple of Heaven. Our guide was pleasant and did stop several times to explain a few things but then also gave us a little time to explore on our own. You could easily see these places on your own but the guide did tell us bits of information as well as he made the ticket purchases and entrances much easier.

Overpriced for what it is... Got rushed through the sites with barely any explanation on their history or architecture. The guide barely spoke English so it was difficult to communicate at all. Half of the time was basically spent at the silk factory or pearl shop where they try really hard to make you spend more money nice try, but I'm broke after paying for this tour lol. Tour was supposed to be 7 hours but I was brought back after barely 4? What? The food was ok at least. But nothing special. I don't recommend... There's cheaper tours out there with better guides...

Our tour guide spoke good English and she showed us around some very interesting places. Be aware though, the queue through security at the Forbidden City can be very long, and locals push their way closer to the entrance. Other than the general behaviour of the locals, this tour was fantastic, especially if you want to learn about the history of China.

Excellent Tour. Our tour guide Cherry did an excellent job. She put things in context. She also helped us to make great compositions for photography including panorama shots.
