Desde la estación de Bergen, el viaje de 12 horas le lleva primero en tren a Voss y continúa en autocar por el pintoresco terreno montañoso occidental hasta el encantador pueblo de Ulvik. Si va a estar aquí durante la primavera, podrá ver hermosos árboles en flor.
Desde Ulvik, su recorrido continúa en barco hasta Eidfjord, donde podrá realizar una visita turística a la catarata de Vøringsfossen (la catarata más grande de Noruega) y haga una parada en Hardangervidda Natursenter (Centro natural), situado a los pies de las cataratas (la entrada no está incluida en el precio).
Un crucero por el impresionante Hardangerfjord le presenta las gemas naturales y culturales de la región. Si Sognefjord es el rey de los fiordos del oeste de Noruega, Hardangerfjord es, sin duda, la reina.
La aventura continúa en barco hasta Norheimsund, donde un autobús le estará esperando para llevarle de vuelta a Bergen. Pasará la cascada de Steinsdalsfossen por el camino.

Was a little concerned when I booked this tour. Self guided tour? No worries! Representative came to our hotel the night before with all the required vouchers and a good explanation of what the trip involved. Had a wonderful, relaxed day from the railway station to the bus back to Bergen. Everything in between was icing on the cake. Highly recommend this tour for anyone. What a great way to see the Hardangerfjord and surrounding area!!
The information was easy to follow on this self guided tour. Unfortunately the Voringsfossen waterfall was shrouded in mist, but it was still a great day and we did see many waterfalls on other trips.
This was a wonderful adventure. We had come through part of the fjord on the cruise ship in the fog and rain so this day we had glorious sun for most of the day. The instructions were detailed and perfect allowing us to navigate on our own the various transfers train to bus to boat etc. without any difficulty. The operators of the train, busses and boats were very helpful with any questions and spoke all English. The scenery cannot be beaten. If you are thinking of doing this and hesitate for fear you will not be able to navigate on your own, just do it and you will not be disappointed.
