Learned quite a bit of the ruin history that we were not aware of. Yri was a very good guide. Lot of driving but worth knocking out in one day. Cenote swim was very welcome break and quite refreshing in between the two sets of ruins.

Carmen, our tour guide was very knowledge and friendly. We ended up getting a private tour which allowed us to get a tour catered to what we wanted to see. The Coba Ruins were amazing, we had more freedom to explore the area and do more activities, whereas at Chichen Itza we felt like we spent the entire time talking about all of the symbolism and science behind the ruins then actually seeing all of the areas to explore. Overall, it was a great tour and highly recommend it.

At first glance when the site noted this was a 12 hour tour I was a little hesitate to book it because I have an attention span of a gnat. But I'm glad I took a chance. Around 4 hours of that time is the drive back and fourth and we spent just the right amount of time at each location. We also arrived in Chichen Itza early which allowed us to beat the crowd and the heat because we left before the hottest point of the day. Went to lunch. Had a refreshing dip in the Cenote and ended our day in the shaded area of Coba. Sergio was our guide and he was amazing, extremely knowledgeable and delight to be around.

My husband and I loved this tour. Our guide Sergio did an excellent job!! He was very helpful during all trip and unswered all questions that we had. Swimming in a cave was fan really recommend not to skip it, cave is 50m deep!!!!! But you can rent a live vest for only 1.88USD and enjoy it. Sergio also had water, juice and snacks so no need to bring a lot of heavy staff with you. Wear a comfy shoes, you will walk a lot. I really loved this tour!!!

It was a wonderful tour for my fiancee and me! Our driver, Orlando Morales, was great and very professional! He was very helpful. Our guide, Pablo Acosta, was a wealth of information. Our experience helped us to better understand and appreciate the Mayan civilization. Also, they were both very funny and had a great rapport with one another. Thank you!

Picked up on time as arranged, the driver Orlando was excellent very friendly and helpful. When we met up with the other travellers and our guide Geraldo. Geraldo was an excellent guide and the long journey was helped a lot by his commentary and detailed knowledge of the Mayan culture. At every stop Orlando was on hand to advise and help. The day was excellent, it is a long trip but with Orlando and Geraldo it was managed perfectly. The ruins are very interesting and there is adequate time to view them. Would highly recommend this trip to anyone and can not praise the staff enough. My wife and I would like to thank them again for making a very special and memorable day for us.

Our trip with Yalku Tours was one for the ages! First of all I want to give a big shout out to Carmen our tour guide and Hugo our tour driver for doing an amazing job! They really made the tour that much better. Carmen did a great job of explaining in English and Spanish for all the people on our tour. Our first stop was Chichen Itza which is one of the Seven Wonders of the World and we spent about an hour walking around the sites while she explained everything and we then had about an hour to walk around and take pictures on our own which was really nice. It was very hot and humid and glad we got there early before the big crowds arrived. Our next stop was Cenote Ik Kil which was a natural sinkhole in the middle of the Mayan Jungle which was about a 15min drive from Chichen Itza. This place is truly amazing and was probably the highlight of this tour for me as we got to get in and swim and jump of the ledge in to the water. The place was pretty busy but not too bad where it wasnt enjoyable. I recommend swimming first if you are going to swim and then heading the free buffet lunch which was included. We swam for about thirty minutes and then had about an hour for lunch. The Yucatecan lunch buffet was delicious. We left there very happy. There is also a nice little gift shop you can stop and look around before heading back to the bus. Our final stop was the Mayan ruins of Coba. This was also a truly amazing experience. When you arrive you arrive it is about 1.5 miles to the ruins from the entrance. You have the option of walking, renting bicycles for around 2usd, or renting a taxi where the young men will peddle you over for around 5usd. My sister and I rented the bicycles and it made for a great experience for the two of us. Upon reaching the tallest pyramid of all the Mayan ruins its sight of it is amazing. The best thing is we got to climb to the top of it! I would definitely recommend climbing to the top of it if you are capable because the views are indescribable. It is a very steep and tiring climb but well worth it. On our way riding our bicycles it started to rain very hard and it was GREAT! It made for a story to tell for all times. It was a long day as we left at 6am and got home around 8pm as my sister and I were the last ones to be dropped off. But all in all I would definitely recommend this tour and we definitely got our money worth. This is a once in a lifetime kind of tour and I am blessed and grateful that it was a beautiful day and that I got to spend it with my sister. JUST DO IT! Hopefully you get to do it with Yalku Tours and Carmen and Hugo.
