Regreso a Cork

We had a great time. The view is absolutely beautiful and it is definitely something that needs to be seen.

While the trip was nice and the landmarks were gorgeous, the length was way too short. It is advertised on Tripadvisor (where I booked as 13 hrs and on the Paddywagon site it said arrive at 6pm), but we were back in Cork just before 4pm. We skipped one stop sicne it was going to add time, and the whole trip felt rushed. It seemed like we didn't' stay long enough at each place and would have like to get my money's worth.

We went to Cliffs of Moher with Paddywagon. The tour operator is well organized and everything went well, but you need more time to enjoy the landscape. They gave us one hour and a half for the cliffs, 15 minutes for the baby cliff and 30 minutes for the castle. In the last stop we went to the bathroom ( as they recommended) and there was line, so then we had only 10 minutes to see the castle. I think they have to reorganize the tour in order for us to have more time to enjoy the cliffs, because stop for short periods it doesn`t make sense!

Had bad weather at the cliffs unfortunately but definitely something that is likely to happen in such a rainy area. Our tour guide was blah at best. He didn't really offer any useful commentary, seemed uninterested, and was very tangential in the commentary he did offer. Part of tolerating sitting on a bus for hours and hours is hearing some local history and stories. Also, Bunratty castle is really a 10 min photo stop, you don't go inside.

Tour bus was comfortable and Mike was funny, lively. But we were told to arrive 15-20 minutes earlier than 7:30 am. We came at 7 am, freezing in the cold. Bus arrived at 7:35 am and left at 7:50 with no apologies. Viator should have their office open so we could have waited there. NOT happy!!!

Such a beautiful place- good amount of time spent at the cliffs and at the smaller cliffs. Wish we had an extra hour to explore more

We took the day trip with Michael from Paddywagon and it was honestly one of the best day trips we have ever had. Michael is a remarkably entertaining driver and filled a fairly long journey with stories, jokes, songs beware!, and just made it a fabulous and fun day. We'll never forget it. I also didn't realize we were going to The Burren and Dingle....the tour is surprisingly well organized and well thought out. Felt like we saw a lot in one day, but it was also quite relaxing and beautiful. Didn't hurt that we had stunning weather but even if you have a rainy day, Michael will make it worth your while.
