A las 9.00 h comenzará su recorrido de un día en la calle más famosa de Edimburgo, la Royal Mile, donde su guía-conductor le proporcionará información sobre el fascinante pasado de la ciudad. Mientras se abre camino hacia Stirling, escuchará la historia del auténtico "Braveheart," William Wallace. Podrá explorar uno de los castillos más grandes y más importantes de Escocia, el castillo de Stirling (por cuenta propia). Disfrute de increíbles vistas desde las almenas al Monumento a Wallace, que también podrá explorar (por cuenta propia). El monumento ofrece unas vistas espectaculares sobre las Tierras Altas y Ochil Hills. Si lo prefiere, simplemente pasee por las calles históricas del casco antiguo de Stirling.

A continuación pondremos rumbo al Duke's Pass con sus fantásticas vistas sobre el Parque Nacional de Trossachs hasta el loch (lago) más romántico de Escocia, Loch Lomond, y por el camino conocerá la inspiración para una de las canciones más queridas y famosas de Escocia. En Loch Lomond, parte del Parque Nacional de Trossachs y Loch Lomond, podrá disfrutar de las vistas de la mayor masa de agua dulce en el Reino Unido Admire las vistas, o si lo prefiere disfrute de un relajado paseo en la tranquila orilla o realice una breve caminata hasta el Fuerte Craigie antes de viajar de regreso al centro de Edimburgo.

Nuestra última parada del día es una destilería de whisky en Glengoyne. Pruebe el auténtico espíritu de Escocia, mientras los guías expertos le acompañan en el largo proceso de producción de la bebida nacional de Escocia (no incluido en el precio). Si el whisky no es lo suyo, podrá dar un paseo a la cercana colina Drumgoyne y disfrutar de las vistas de la catarata ubicada detrás de la destilería.

Perfect day out of Edinburgh. Great stops and Glengoyne is a wonderful small distillery to visit. Lots of information from our lovely tourguide John (or Lord John that he wanted us to call him:))

We really enjoyed seeing these interesting places. Tour guide was knowledgable and friendly. It’s a long day but well worth it. The only negative is we got rubbish seats on the bus. We arrived 20 minutes before tour left and were last of 16 people to board the bus. Which meant we had to sit at the back of the bus in a row of four which was a serious squash and meant we were all uncomfortable. The seats are child sized. We would definitely book again, but next time arrive an hour early and try to board bus in time to get either single or a pairs seat.

The driver (Rory) was great, told stories and made an extra stop at the bridges for photos. He kept us on track even though we had a couple stops take long.Sterling castle is less crowded than Edinburgh and we had plenty of time. Loch lomand is beautiful and the distillery was perfect!!

Overall the tour was ok, not not great. Sterling Castle visit was good with enough time. Couldn't get enough time at Loch Lomond for the usual Cruise through the Loch. Visit to Distillery was also good. The guide/driver was quite friendly but should have given more information about the various locations. He missed to give lots of information of major landmarks.

a very interesting day out from Edinburgh , are guide was very good , are first stop was the stunning Stirling castle , where we were given a free tour which was very interesting after a lunch break we were taken to see loch Lomond but my highlight of the tour was the Glengoyne distillery tour , it was the first time I had been to a whisky distillery , and was explained how the whisky is made starting from the barley grains, and also learnt the difference between blended and single malt also got try try some great whisky I would recommend this tour while in Edinburgh
