Your tour begins with hotel pickup at 7:30pm, when you'll board a vehicle destined for your evening venue.

Here, you will see what an evening of traditional entertainment is all about; Bailinho da madeira as its known to the locals, is performed by artistes dressed in traditional attire, singing, dancing, enjoying every minute of their performance.

Also on offer for your delectation are tasty, top quality specialties. Espetada is the traditional main dish consisting of succulent pieces of beef, seasoned, cooked on huge skewers and served with other local produce including the traditional flat bread Bolo do Caco.

Finally, you'll stop at one of Funchal’s stunning viewpoints, from where you will see the whole city, completes the Madeira by Night tour.

Your tour concludes with hotel drop-off.

We felt that it would have far improved our evening if we had been seated near some English people or at least some people who could understand English. Also very disappointed that the entertainment was not running all the time and there were large gaps with soft music you could hardly hear. There was only one dance for all to join in at the end which was just not enough to enjoy oneself and we were herded back on to the mini buses. It took a huge time for my friend to be given a fish dish that was requested on the booking form, and we had to still ask for. There was no visit to a view of the city on the way back also. Just not enough fun laid on! disappointing.
