I took this tour day after we arrived in Geneva. The tour lasted 3 hours and was by bus and small train . We visited most important places with commentary by our tour guide he was excellent. you then ride on a small 3 carriage train which takes you round old town Geneva with good commentary from speakers in each carriage. The final part you board a boat which makes its way up lake Geneva for 20 minutes then back to the opposite bank from where you started. You can then easily walk back to city centre or get one of the many trams or buses which are all free for tourists staying in hotels. Excellent tour.
Very well organized. Right on schedule. No problems whatsoever. Do recommend if you are short on time.
We picked this because we had a very limited time in the city and figured it would be a good way to get a quick overview. The tour delivered what it promised - a bus, 'train' and boat ride. It's just that it wasn't that interesting and our time would have been better spent just walking around the old town.
A great trip
Loved the city but the tour left a lot to be desired. The guide talked and talked and talked--not about the city and what we saw but just talked. If he had stuck to the details it would have been a better tour.
Local tour oeraope non co-operative.I missed my trip with them, they were rude. Non professional. This cannot describe as tour guide.
Great tour
We liked the tour. A combination of bus, train and boat ride with lot of history info. We liked the old City ride which was slow and steady. The description was in couple languages, the English was clear and meaningful. I would recommend it.
we enjoyed the city immensely. Would recommend it to anyone. Boat ride was so so though. Mini train made it all worth while.
