A las 9.00 h, saldrá de su hotel para disfrutar de una visita turística de medio día. En primer lugar, podrá visitar la magnífica iglesia bizantina de Santa Sofía, una de las mejores obras de arquitectura de todo el mundo y que ha sido propuesta como la octava maravilla del mundo por muchos historiadores. A continuación, continúe hasta la Mezquita Azul, una de las mayores mezquitas de Estambul que se remonta al siglo XVII. Este es uno de los principales adornos del horizonte de Estambul, famosa también por sus azulejos de color azul y sus 6 minaretes. También visitará el hipódromo, el antiguo centro de actividades deportivas y políticas de Constantinopla. Durante la visita, podrá contemplar el obelisco de Egipto, la Columna Serpentina de Delfos, la Columna de Constantino y la fuente de W Startilhelm II. La última visita de la mañana es el Gran Bazar, que además de su importancia histórica, es un bazar que seguro le tentará con su amplia colección de preciosas alfombras hechas a mano, joyas, cuero y recuerdos. Al final de su visita, le trasladarán a su hotel.

La MEZQUITA AZUL (MEZQUITA SULTANAHMET) estará cerrada a las visitas turísticas entre el 01 / 03-15 / 05/2018 debido a trabajos de restauración dentro de la mezquita. La visita a la mezquita se mantendrá, pero se permitirá usar solo la parte del jardín.

If you only have a short time in Istanbul then this tour is great and shows you the majority of the main sights. However the tour guide Jayla (not sure if spelling) left much to be desired. I would recommend that you check the name of your guide before confirming your booking. There were a range of ages in the whole tour group, which included an elderly couple and one of them couldn’t walk very fast. To cut a long story short they got lost and had to call the company to complain and ask them to find them. There was no apology just ignorance and blamed them for not keeping up and following her umbrella. I am able to walk but her pace was not walking it was very brisk and unnecessary. At the end of the tour, as we only took part in the day tour, I was asked if I wanted to be dropped off st the hotel and I said yes as that was included in the booked. She then made a comment that it was walkable and was annoyed that I wanted to be dropped off. If I had been given directions we would have happily walked back, however having arrived just the night before to a brand new country how was I supposed to know my bearings? Then in the bus she proceeded to shout at me as I wasn’t listening to her and she was taking to me. First of all the bus was noisy with everyone talking and I was right at the back, how on earth am I supposed to know she was talking to me? I am a very calm person and it takes a lot to upset or annoy me but I can say that she succeeded on both counts. Her attitude was just rude and uncalled for, if a person doesn’t like their job they should change it and not ruin experiences for anyone. Please do not let this put you off the tour itself but please do check on your guide!

Great guide, very informative and a good introduction to Istanbul. Mini bus pick up from hotel and the drive to the sites included a brief history of the Bosphorus

just an Honest review! this company doesn't even deserve 1 star. they are very unprofessional. the company in charge of this tour is under the name of Karavan Travel which I will not recommend, you better look for another company. They need to learn more about how to make business. I was staying in Istanbul for 1 day only and they completely wasted my time.

I booked this tour for my 1st day to familiarise with the place and to get the most touristy spots done. Our guide Ozcan spoke excellent English and had impressively vast knowledge about history, current affairs, economics etc (uni lecturer). The time allowed for the tour was too short in my opinion.
