Reúnase con el guía en machiya, una casa tradicional japonesa situada en el centro Kioto. Desde aquí, su guía le acompañará a Matsui Shuzo, una moderna fábrica de sake actualmente en funcionamiento. Se trata de un corto trayecto en taxi (incluido) a las instalaciones de la fábrica.
Antes de la sesión de cata de sake, embárquese en un recorrido por la moderna fábrica. Podrá ver los instrumentos utilizados en la producción de sake, escuchar sobre la historia del sake en Kioto y descubrir los secretos de esta tradicional bebida japonesa; sigue siendo popular en los festivales, ceremonias y rituales japoneses de hoy en día.
Después, tome asiento y disfrute de su cata de sake. Podrá probar varios tipos de sake con diferentes contenidos de alcohol. Mientras saborea cada taza pequeña, su guía le explicará la combinación especial de agua, malta, levadura y arroz que crea cada inconfundible aroma y sabor, que va desde el dulce al seco.

We highly recommend this tour of Matsui Brewery. The owner, Jiemon Matsui, guided us through the brewing process and conducted the tasting himself. We truly felt like special guests at the brewery. Yumiko, our tour guide and interpreter, made sure that the whole morning ran smoothly.

Me and my boyfriend didn't bring a big luggage to trip so we couldn't buy any sake, but the owner did not mind and still be very polite and welcoming. We are going to buy some of their own branded sake next time.

I really enjoyed this small brewery tour of the Matsui Shuzo Brewery. They've been around for a couple of hundred years, and supply many of the local shrines, and for good reason. The brewery staff and master brewer were super nice, and the sake was really excellent I bought a couple of bottles of my favorites to keep me company during the remainder of my trip. The tour guide, Ms. Kinoshita, was terrific she was very knowledgeable about sake and about the local area, her English was very good, and she was excellent company during the tour. I had a terrific time.

We are very glad to choose this tour. Our guide Yoshie is a certified Sake Sommelier, who is very passionate about the Sake culture as well as very helpful in answering our questions. The Sake Brewery Matsui Brewing is highly recommended. It is small however the owner is the 15th generation who is very kind, friendly and well knowledgable. We also visited other bigger brewery, we are very glad that we have visited Matsui.

Great exprience. I love going to Wine country in California so this was the sake version of that. The tour was given by the wife of the owner. Small sake distillery so we were able to get a behind the scene look at the making and production of Sake. Great way to spend a few hours and taste some great sake.
