Su encuentro de cerca con los felinos comienza al entrar en Lion Habitat Ranch, cerca de Las Vegas, un lugar de 3,4 hectáreas (8,5 acres) donde habitan felinos que anteriormente fue el MGM Lion Habitat. Desde principios de los años 90, el santuario ha sido la residencia de más de 40 leones y sus adorables cachorros. El personal del rancho proporciona cuidados a estos grandes felinos durante el resto de sus vidas naturales y dona parte de los beneficios a los hábitats de los leones salvajes. Dé un paseo a lo largo del camino pavimentado para disfrutar de vistas sin obstáculos de estos grandes felinos tumbados, jugando y durmiendo en su hábitat. Visita entre bastidores para grupos pequeños
Si desea observar a los depredadores desde otro punto de vista, elija una visita entre bastidores. Está limitada a 10 personas y los instructores profesionales responderán a todas las preguntas sobre la crianza y la doma de los leones durante una sesión de preguntas y respuestas interactivas. Una vez que conozca el funcionamiento interno del santuario, explore los terrenos en una visita guiada. Observe cómo se alimentan, doman y bañan los reyes de la jungla y sus cachorros.

What a hidden gem. We used to be sure to stop by the MGM hotel to see the lions there, but they closed that exhibit down in 2012. What struck me about this place was the cleanliness and palpable love for these animals that the trainers had. You can just tell when someone speaks animal, and these people do. The most important thing to the wonderful people here is the health and happiness of their animals. Highest recommendation! Also, the behind the scenes tour has a lot less people trying to get the attention of the lions - after our tour, there were large groups of kids laughing at the lions, who were grumbling back at them - found the kids annoying and wondering where the parents were - only to sadly realize, they were right next to them doing the same thing. Too bad you can't pass a test before you're allowed to be with these majestic beasts. Do yourself a favor and visit this place - but please be respectful of the big kitties!

My family and I enjoyed our visit to the lion habitat. It has more than just lions there, you can see birds, ostriches, and giraffes. My daughter had the opportunity to feed the giraffe while petting him. That was her highlight of the day. It was awesome to when they feed the lions because all of them start to roar, and it can be heard throughout the entire facility. If you a family traveling in Las Vegas, this is a must see.

It was fun,we got there on Benny the Lion's third birthday and we were able to catch his birthday party and watch him get his piñata, I.also got to hand feed a giraffe and we were able to watch them feed the lions and the Cubs

Amazing!! Staff very knowledgeable about the animals in their care. Cute baby giraffe that paints a must see. I highly recommend this tour to everyone! Price may seem a bit high but when you see what it takes to care for these beautiful animals on a daily basis, the donation is well worth the price!
