The tour and WWII walk was incredible. Both guides were very knowledgable and were very informative. This is a must for history buffs!

My husband and I went on the walking tour as well as Dachau on the same day, if you plan on doing both on the same day plan on comfortable shoes and clothes. My husband and I loved all the information before going to see all the places our guide too us to because without the facts and details we would just be looking at beautiful architecture. If you just want to go into the museum without the guide please don’t go on a tour. The dachau tour alone takes 3 hours but it’s worth it!

I advice visitors to take a combo package. The afternoon session is continuation of the morning walking tour. Well worth the money you pay. We were also lucky to have had an excellent guide Geoff.

One of the best day tours I have been on. It's a full day of walking but the guides are very knowledgeable and funny.

The morning walking tour of the city was excellent - very knowledgeable and explained the history in clear detail. The afternoon was not that organized - we did not get to see the film at Dachau and we lost a third of the tour group, but worth the trip if you were not left behind.

It was an excellent tour. The guide was extremely knowledgeable and professional. She provided excellent commentary and took great care of us. Her knowledge of Munich's history was extensive. She did a wonderful and properly sensitive job of taking us through and explaining the Dachau Memorial. We highly recommend this tour!

We experienced this historically important tour with Nicola as a guide. She was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the concentration camp and the experiences that led up to this horrible time. If you are a history buff, this is a must see.

This is a combo of the two tours so i'll review them each here: The Dachau concentration camp is a must visit when in Munich. This guided tour is a great way to visit Dachau. Mark did an exceptional job of sharing the relevant information and actually pointing out things you would not have noticed if you were touring the site on your own. I really appreciate that extra insight and knowledge that he brought to the tour. It’s a very tough topic and I thought he handled it extremely well. You will be standing for long periods so be prepared. The tour group meets at the main Munich train station and he guides you onto the train to Dachau (one stop) and then onto the local bus that takes you to the site itself. The total transit time is about 30 minutes. The 3rd Reich Walking Tour: Aileen did a wonderful job of sharing the back story to the rise of Hitler and the 3rd Reich particularly as it related to Munich. I'd walked past so many of the sites on my own without appreciating the important part they played in the past. A very informative tour.

This was a very long day but very informational and sobering. We had 2 super guides (Chris for the morning walk and Kathleen for the afternoon in Dachau). Chris had the unique ability to help us all visualize the environment that allowed the Third Reich to take power. Kathleen was a WEALTH of information able to set the stage as we progressed though history . Both challenged us to see how history can repeat itself and posed questions for critical application in today's world. They were both outstanding as was the material and setting they were presented in. Tips: take lots of water and an umbrella for shade. Both guides were very aware of the heat and went out of their way to keep us shaded where possible.

Both tours were great and very, very informative. My only gripe was the from a fellow overweight tourist who yelled at the tour guide for walking... these tours have a lot of walking. The reviews I read before the tours stated there would be a lot of walking. When it comes to walking, be prepared to be a positive Patty instead of a Negative Nancy. I walked about 15k steps between the two tours. Eric was the guide for the Dachau Tour. He is knowledgeable about the events that took place here and gave a good overview of the entire camp. These types of tours are not fun, but we need to remember the events. Eric laid out the information in a great way that was respectful and made a lasting impression.Iain was the guide for the 3rd Reich Tour. We walked to various places in Munich. He gave a good background of the history leading up to WW2.Both tours I learned so much! You can tell the guides are passionate about the history and are educated on the topics. Highly recommend!

Arriving in Munich this was our first tour scheduled. The tour was provided by Radius Tours, which was easy to locate at Munich Central Station. Check in was also very quick and easy. Our tour guide was Jeffrey, who was very charismatic, a great story teller and knew his history. This tour is a great way to to visit a number of historical sites if you have a short time in Munich. My only suggestion is if you have a stroller you may have a difficult time at Dachau, one family missed out on quite a bit due the difficulty of following the group through the gravel areas. However, i would highly recommend this tour.

Tour guide Achim was very knowledgeable and gave a great tour. Radius Tours in Munich is the BEST tour company Ive ever seen. We were originally scheduled to take one tour through them, but were so impressed with the first one that we booked two more tours for our trip, and all were Excellent. The office is conveniently located in the Hauptbahnhof Station from which the tours depart and the girl in the office is super nice and helpful. Highly highly recommend.
