Viaje en el metro a la parte antigua de Delhi con un guía local. Tiene la posibilidad de empezar el viaje con una taza de chai antes de sumergirse en las vistas, sonidos y olores de la antigua Delhi. Esta parte de la ciudad ofrece comida en la calle, vibrantes bazares, templos y lugares de interés histórico que visitará. Oferta variada desde parafernalia de bodas hasta cadenas de Caléndulas. Continúe a pie, caminando por callejones estrechos para visitar el pueblo, lugares y olores de la antigua Delhi, no hay dos paseos iguales ya que siempre ocurre algo en esta parte una ciudad. Su guía local le conducirá a una experiencia de la vida real.
Para el almuerzo, hará una parada en el famosísimo Paratha Wali Gali para degustar el delicioso pan frito relleno de requesón cremoso fresco y encurtidos caseros. Se trata de un festín tanto para la vista como para el estómago gracias a los ingredientes frescos que se sirven en tawa (platos calientes). Las paradas incluyen lugares de interés histórico importantes relacionadas con el Motín de 1857, también conocida como la Primera Guerra de la Independencia de la India. Su guía local le proporcionará un trasfondo de la historia más reciente de la India y su lucha por independencia. Visitará templos locales dedicados a varios dioses para acercarse al hinduismo.
Al final de la excursión, dispondrá de tiempo libre para explorar de forma personal o, como alternativa, su guía local le podrá ayudar a conseguir un taxi de vuelta a su hotel.

I had a fabulous time on the Old Delhi tour with Abhi. We started at the Chandni Chowk for a tea and some history of the area. We stopped in at Gurdwara Sis Ganj Sahib, a Sikh temple right across the street, and Abhi and I sat down and observed for a bit. We stopped for samosas at Old Famous Jalebi Wala before walking into the streets of the Chandni Chowk market area, and we walked around for a bit, which was so interesting. We went to a Jain temple, and a member of the temple showed me around this GORGEOUS space. We got a fried bread and some chutneys at a busy food place I can't recall the name, but it was clearly extremely popular, and then we took a tuk tuk to the spice market area and checked out one of the vendors nearby. Although it wasn't part of the tour, Abhi very generously got us another autorickshaw, and we went back through the market streets to go to Jama Masjid because I hadn't gotten a chance to visit yet. He showed me around and shared some of the history of the mosque, and it was awesome. Abhi was very patient and knowledgeable, and since I went in the slower season, it was just the two of us. He answered my questions thoughtfully, and it was more like hanging out with a cool friend than anything else. One of the highlights of my trip was sitting and talking with him in Jama Masjid. Abhi is a superb guide, and I loved being able to explore Old Delhi for a great morning.

I enjoyed my morning but it was not what I signed up for at all! There was no small group, just me the Red Fort was closed so saw a variety of other sights and markets no chai or lunch provided transport was Delhi's metro at rush hour. The tour guide was friendly and very knowledgeable. He taught me a lot about the sights I was seeing and organised the morning for me to see the most possible. I was disappointed that the tour did not match anything I had booked but still had an opportunity to see a side of Delhi I hadn't seen previously. In the future I would not book another tour in this way.

this was probably the best money I spent in India! Our tour guide Sabyasaghi (Sab) was unbelievable! he was so well respected with everyone that we met. He took us everywhere. he introduced us to the Metro and what to look out for and where to eat. He let us know about the different histories and rituals of India. Take this tour as your first introduction to India. Fingers crossed you get Sab as he is one of a kind!
