The guide was hotdog. We could see things after the fact, that's if you looked fast enough . We never would recommend this tour.

Good tour guide and hectic schedule enabled us to see a lot of NY in a brief period of 6 hours. Overall good experience. The pickup point for the tour was mentioned as Infront of Rendezvous Restaurant. This restaurant apparently has shut down 2years back. This led to lot of confusion for all the tourists for this trip. This needs to be immediately corrected

If you are new to New York a guided tour is a great place to start. We had a great tour with “Jeff” a definitely recommend take this tour. It’s very informative and will give you an idea of the places that speak to you so you can map out where you would prefer to visit in lengthier time.

It was very difficult to understand what the tour guide was saying. He mumbled a lot during the tour. We requested he used the microphone, which he did. However, it was still hard to hear him. He was pleasant in one on one conversations.

The trip was good with interesting stops where we got out to look round at various places of interest. However it was spoiled by two things. 1. The meeting place in New York was at the junction of two streets in Uptown Manhattan, near the Rendezvous café. We were first timers in New York but found the junction but no café. Eventually asked someone who said that café closed two years ago. Two people didn't turn up for the trip, probably couldn't find the café. 2. The min bus type vehicle had blacked out windows and it was raining. The driver couldn't get the heating right so the windows were steamed up with condensation so I couldn't see a thing out of the windows. I had to try and peer through the drivers windshield. It was like it was a night time tour, but there were no lights on outside, just darkness. We had to adjust our eyes every time we stopped and got out, because there was daylight!. The guide was good but it was very disappointing because of 1 and 2.

The overall tour was good. There are some areas that be could be improved. Locating the meeting location was difficult. The restaurant given as a landmark is either no longer there or just difficult to find. Other tour participants could not find it either. There is no signage on the vehicle. You have no way of knowing that the vehicle has arrived. Because New York is crowed perhaps the tour director needs a flag or something that can be seen above the crowds. It appears the tour patrons are not always being counted at each stop to make sure that everyone is accounted for. While I understand there is a time schedule to keep, there is not a lot of time to get anything to eat for lunch as indicated. There is no opportunity before you get to Staten Island, which is at the end of the tour late in the afternoon. Once there, you only have 25 minutes. This is not a lot of time with all of the other people also trying to get something to eat. It was also noted that water would be available on the bus and it was not. The tour director was very informative and I would recommend this tour to others.

This tour provides a great sneak peek at NYC sights and neighborhoods with minimal walking and no need to find bus hops. It makes for a great preview and is chock full of local history and trivia provided by our interesting and amusing native New Yorker guide. If you want more time to roam and up close views of Lady Liberty you may want to check other options.

Brooklyn Jim, great tour guide. Very considerate of our time. We had a woman on our tour that was talking all the time, then she asks stupid questions about things our guide had just covered. No cure for stupidity, I guess

We saw everything we wanted to see! We never could've seen all that we saw on our own. Brooklyn Jim was amazing. His knowledge of the city, his insights, and his comical sense of humor, made the tour fantastic. When my son and I got lost finding him in the city, he even came to meet us!

Tour guide (Brooklyn Jim) was very knowledgeable . We did not get to visit Times Square or Central Park due to a parade being held at the time. This tour was NOT wheelchair accessible as listed. There were quite a few stairs to climb. They also did NOT offer bottled water to the guest as stated. I recommend wearing comfy shoes and appropriate clothing as this is a long tour with lots of walking .

This small group tour was a perfect way to see a lot of NY with a great guide and then discover what you want to spend more time visiting.

Hard to do more than scratch the surface on a one day tour of NYC but this one did a very good job given its limited time. Even made stops at the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island which exceeded our expectations regarding what this tour encompassed. Our guide Giacomo (Jim) was funny, knowledgeable and an authentic New Yorker (from Brooklyn). Well worth the money.

This was the best tour we have booked through Viator yet! It was on a nice luxury van and only 13 people so not too many too be waiting on. We stopped at various locations for photo ops and walking tours and this also includes a ferry ride for the best photo ops. Well worth the $$.

This tour is great and takes you to all the major sites. What I really liked about it was that the tour guide got off the bus, walked with us, and told us facts about each site, which you would not get from the hop on and off tour buses. This was more of a personal tour. Our tour guide, John, was amazing. He made the tour fun.
