El recorrido comenzará con la recogida en el hotel de la ciudad de Panamá y seguirá con el traslado al puerto deportivo de Gamboa. Una vez allí, realizará un viaje de 35 minutos en barco por el río Chagres hasta llegar a la Isla de los Monos,
Junto con un guía, pasará unos 80 minutos observando las diferentes especies de monos. Después de la visita, realizará un viaje de 35 minutos en barco de vuelta al puerto deportivo de Gamboa y continuará con un traslado de vuelta a su hotel.

The scenery along the Panama Canal was pretty, and the boat ride very pleasant. Our guide, Mario was friendly and knowledgeable. We were able to see several varieties of monkeys close enough to almost touch.

The monkey island tour in Gamboa was a wonderful tour and I saw more than I expected. Our guide Mario was friendly, knowledgeable, and really worked hard to give us the full experience. The scenery on the boat ride was beautiful. I saw many birds, howler monkeys, Tamarins, and Capuchins. There were a few other tour boats along with ours that were feeding them. Mario prefers not to feed the monkeys, but it doesn't stop them from coming onto the boat! I have a camera full of great photos and a few videos of the monkeys close-up, along with the memories :). I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Panama City that wants to get away from the cityscape and see more of nature.

Oscar, Juliette and the boat pilot were wonderful. Very knowledgeable, friendly and focused on making sure we had a great time. Great background info on Panama. We went to el Valle Anton based on Oscar’s recommendation. Bravo!

Saw three varieties of monkey. White faced Capuchin, Geoffroy's tamarin and Howler all came on to the boat, the first two species for a while, Howler only fleetingly. Mario was very nice.

Little disappointed as first cancelled and need to reschedule and we were lucky we could. The guide was in a non caring mood that day. We did get out did see monkeys and did feed them. That was fun. But didn’t seem long enough as we stopped to get bananas and he said he’d have them.

We had some trouble with the company following through on the booking. They called the day before and said there was a holiday and they wanted to move the tour to another day, because they were worried about traffic. We explained that we were not going to be available for the next day. They called back and said they would keep to the original plan. However, it seems like the trip was rushed and did not last as long as it was projected to last, so they must have shortened it.

We loved it! I wish it was slightly longer but it was an awesome experience. The monkey's were not shy at all! We saw some Tucans which was neat. Our guide Mario was very informative. When I go back to Panama I will definitly be booking a tour and requesting him! Great day at a fair price! Thanks again!
