Because river cruises have a tendency to be overcrowded, we were a little hesitant when we booked this one. And with the lines we saw when we arrived, and how over-packed some of the other boats were, those fears increased. But the fears turned out to be unwarranted, specific to this champagne tasting cruise, because this cruise is held in a separate and private part of a larger boat, with only seating for about 2 dozen people. Ultimately, it wound up being a beautiful and peaceful tour of the River Seine while tasting some excellent champagne. Our sommelier, whose name I cannot remember (though I wish I could - it started with a "G") was amazing. He was entertaining and informative. The champagne and the views were fantastic, and it was just an overall enjoyable experience.
This was my second trip to Paris and second river boat cruise down the Seine, and I must say this was fantastic! Our guide/host was very engaging and the champagnes were wonderful! My glass was never empty and we got to see beautiful Paris while being told wonderful stories and history. We were in the front of our boat and it was all glassed in (which was nice because it was quite chilly outside) Would highly recommend.
We did the Champagne cruise on our recent trip to Paris. It was a great way to see the sights from the river and sip amazing champagne. I would definitely recommend! The only downside was the hour went by very quick, a 90 minute cruise would've been perfect.
This was my favourite thing I did on my trip to Paris. I learnt so much about Champagne from an amazing expert all while drinking champagne and viewing Paris from the Seine.
Was a nice relaxing cruise where you can see some cool things. Emily was a great sommelier and really knew her stuff
We had a great time. It was a fun way to see the sites and sip champagne on our first evening in Paris
The tour guide was informative, pleasant and friendly. The sights from the river are not to be missed if you travel to Paris. The 6pm cruise time is the ideal time to see the city especially Eiffel Tower. Thanks for some great memories.
Even though this sounds commercialized, it's so worth it. It's wonderful because you can go outside of the boat and drink champagne. What's not to like about that?!
Fabulous time! Lovely view down the Siene River along with champagne tasting. The sommelier was pleasant, knowledgeable and poured a great champagne glass!
A wonderful introduction to Paris!
