Descubra los encantos de la enigmática capital francesa en esta visita guiada de París, que combina los secretos de los locales de moda con una deliciosa comida y vino. Podrá empezar su recorrido por París, delante de la catedral de Notre Dame y, a continuación, se dirigirá al Hôtel de Ville, el ayuntamiento de la ciudad, situado en la plaza, donde se realizaban en su tiempo las ejecuciones públicas. Aprenderá sobre la horrible muerte de Robert-François Damiens, el infame que intentó asesinar al rey Luis XV.
A continuación, se dirigirá al pequeño laberinto de calles del distrito de Marais para ver hermosas iglesias medievales, casas con ménsulas y estrechas callejuelas. También pasará por una emblemática panadería cuya baguette fue elegida como una de las mejores de París y probaremos nuestro primer pastel, un delicioso merengue conocido como "m erveilleux".
A continuación, visitará la Rue Saint-Croix-de-la-Bretonnerie, parte de la escena gay francesa. Aprenderá cómo esta parte de la ciudad, una vez sórdida, se convirtió en sinónimo de moda de París y centro de compras para amantes de la moda y el centro de la cultura "bobo". Durante su estancia aquí, hará una parada y probará un delicioso macaron de uno de los pasteleros más famosos de París.
A tan solo una calle de distancia está la Rue des Rosiers, el corazón de la comunidad judía. Se trata de una animada calle peatonal llena de puestos de falafel y delicias de influencia judía. Entraremos en una fabulosa tienda de chocolate para probar un hojaldre relleno de mantequilla, llamado Kouign Amann, una especialidad de Bretaña.
Nuestro recorrido por París le llevará de vuelta hacia el sur de Marais, donde se encuentran los restos de la muralla defensiva de París del siglo XII. Después de un paseo por la impresionante iglesia de Saint-Paul, haremos una parada en un bar local, donde podrá disfrutar de una cata de vinos profesional. Nos aseguraremos de que pruebe algunos licores emblemáticos franceses como el coñac y el Armagnac o el brandy "Old Plum". Para acompañar la bebida, además, podrá degustar deliciosos quesos franceses o delicias de charcutería.
Continuará hasta la plaza más antigua, y sin duda más hermosa de París, la Place des Vosges, casa del escritor nacional de Francia, Víctor Hugo. Desde allí, es tan solo un corto paseo a su destino final, la plaza de la Bastilla, la antigua prisión, que se hizo famosa el 14 de julio de 1789, desencadenante de la Revolución francesa. La zona cercana está repleta de bares y restaurantes, y tendrá un montón de opciones para continuar con su noche en la Ciudad de las luces.

I totally loved the lady who was our tour guide. She was friendly, informative and very well versed in the history of the area of Paris that we toured. she also gave us the history of the pastries that we tasted during the tour and explained the significance. the tour itself is not what I was expecting....perhaps it should be re-named. I had envisioned frequent stops with small samples of cheese or wine or pastry at 7 or 8 different places. we did taste 3 different pastries, the first beginning about 45 minutes into the tour. we did not taste any wine or cheese during the tour. we went to a small bar at the end where we tasted wines (red and white) served with cheese and charcuterie plates.

Much thanks to Doina for being a kind, knowledgeable and charismatic guide. We walked around learning the history of the area, asking questions, and sampling different foods. At the last stop we sat down and had a few glasses of wine together. The group size was only 4 people.

Doina our guide was funny, friendly and regaled us with interesting Parisien history and great food! I would recommend this tour to anyone who had only a limited time in Paris. Unfortunately it was one of the hottest summer afternoons!

We did the guided tour along with our guide Paul. He was very knowledgeable and sweet. It was a small group tour of just 3 people so each one of us got enough attention. We were taken to Aux Merveilleux, Pierre Herme, and Maison George's for some amazing french Pastries. Wish we could taste more than 1 piece each.

Wonderful walk thru the Maria’s district..weak link was the wine and cheese..but even that was very good...it’s just that the rest was sooooooo very good, excellent! Pastries, history, walk...wonderfull Guide knew he stuff..met us on time. Accommodated allergies, helped us find way to next thing we were doing

This tour was amazing! I really felt the local touch, our guide has been amazing in making us feel like true Parisian and by the end of the experience we were all very happy about the things learnt during this activity. He shared with us a lot of information and brought us to see the best food treats spots in the Marais. I cannot recommend this tour enough, thank you!

This tour was amazing! I'm so glad that we decided that this was the way to find out of the way places that we wouldn't have found on our own. Not only did we sample out of this world pastries, try different cheeses and sample wines, but our wine shop owner gave us a great overview of where the wines came from and why certain grapes were grown in certain regions! The small group lets everyone bond and we became great friends by the end of the tour. Our guide pointed out so many architectural features and historic insights along the way that we learned as we ate. The food was fabulous! We would do this again.
