El taller está dirigido por un experto en la materia de perfume que enseña a profesionales en la conocida escuela de perfumería en Versalles y también es un consultor de empresas como L'Oreal. La primera parte del taller será una discusión sobre el origen del Eau de Cologne en Florencia en 1221 en el convento de Santa Maria Novella, y los ingredientes clave y la evolución alrededor de 1725 de la producción de perfumes en la ciudad de Colonia.
En la primera mitad aprenderá a oler y a describir los ingredientes de un agua de colonia y a aprender las características pertenecientes a las diferentes familias de olores. Esto estará seguido por una discusión sobre el desarrollo de diferentes tipos de colonia y aguas frescas en el mercado.
La segunda mitad del taller es la parte práctica. Después de haber olido los diferentes tipos de colonia y aguas frescas, su profesor le mostrará un método muy simple para crear los perfumes que le gustan que puede llevarse a casa. Se utilizan seis perfumes diferentes (colonia clásica, té verde, picante, frutal, ozónico floral y chipre en atomizadores). Todas las materias primas están garantizadas y cumplen con la legislación europea y las recomendaciones de la IFRA.

Very interesting experience definitely worth trying it out. Cozy atmosphere and a lovely host. We managed to create something we actually like with the help of the teacher. And we took our fragrances home. Fun!

You might think a perfume workshop is just for the ladies. Oh contrare mon fare! Learning the science and formula of how to make perfumes was a lot of fun, and should be at the top of the list with the tower and the arch when you go to Paris.

Loved doing this with my Daughter whilst we were in Paris we learnt a lot more aboutnotes of perfume and what is short and long lasting. Marina was just wonderful, so knowledgable and patient. And her apartment was a warm and calm environment for us to create our own individual perfumes.Great Parisian experience that is just a bit different from the norm.

Highly recommend this workshop! Great venue in a Parisian apartment. It was fun and so unique. I had read earlier that you receive 1 bottle and had the ability to purchase the other scents if you wish and we did, they were a great value! This was the first time I enrolled and it was such a treat! I really enjoyed learning about the chemistry behind creating fragrances. Marina was instrumental in assuring the right fragrance tones were selected to complete my formulas. She was also very patient while answering many questions, and making sure each student in the class received personal time/attention. I would totally recommend this class to anyone looking to experience something really special while visiting Paris. Her apartment is just lovely and provides the perfect back drop for this Parisian event!
