A great over view of this beautiful capitol city of Phoenix. Mike was so knowledgeable about the history, the flora and cultural history of the area and had great stories to share. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the State Legislature, the Camelback Mountain property, the Biltmore and Old Scottsdale.

The tour was rather boring. We were going to be dropped off in Scottsdale to shop, which wasn't on the original itinerary. The shops weren't open yet so we just drove around for awhile and then dropped off. They weren't open yet and had to wait for a while longer. A waste of time. The rest of the trip was pretty bland. Our driver didn't have much to say and didn't seem very knowledgeable about the area although he said he lived there a long time. There was actually very little time spent on downtown Phoenix and the buildings there. We just rushed through that part and was very disappointed.

I went on my own as my husband was at a work conference. The tour guide Manny Rodriguez - if I remember correctly was so knowledgeable and friendly. He had lots of stories to tell us about Phoenix and the surrounding area - historical as well as current and fun. He gave us lots of information without being overbearing. I didn't think I would remember as much as I did considering how much he told us. As we drove around, we had some photo opportunities Hole in the Rock and he pointed out the architecture - he had lots to say about Frank Lloyd Wright as well as the University of Phoenix. The flora was amazing - I didn't expect such a variety of greenery - I learned so much. He also told us about some of the wildlife in the area javelinas, coyotes, snakes, scorpions. We toured Camelback Mountain, Phoenix, Paradise Valley, and had a short stop in Scottsdale. The only confusion was at pickup when I didn't realize that the van waiting was the one for the tour. I was told it was Mom and Pop Tours, so I was looking for a van that said Mom and Pop. So I could have gotten on earlier had I known. Overall a great tour and am so glad that I booked it.

Would not recommend this trip. Was not worth the money. Was supposed to be 4 hours, but the tour lasted only 2 1/2 hours! Definitely not worth the money we paid!!

This tour was the biggest disappointment of our stay in AZ. After having a fantastic all day tour from Phoenix to Sedona and the Grand Canyon booked through Viator, we thought we'd try another. This time Our Tour Guide 'Mike' showed up late after 1pm, when we were told he would be there@12:40 he immediately denied the 12:40 pm pickup time to us, and did not want to hear the voice mail confirming the time! For 69.99 per person, we got a 2.5 hour accelerated tour of Phoenix and Scottsdale which did NOT give us 'free time to browse the shops in Old Town Scottsdale we drove by places, but Mike was going so fast and and NOT wearing his microphone so we couldn't hear half of what he said. He was quick to point out every restaurant he liked, but that's not what we signed up for. We were so dispointed that I tried calling the number from the voice mail message confirming our pickup time as I did that morning when we called wondering where our driver was, and NO ONE ANSWERED,and NO VOICE MAIL. I can only assume this is a regular occurrence when they have 'Mike' on duty.. This was a total waste of time and money. We ended up doing our own tour the next day to see the sites we were promised but never shown, and we even stopped in Old Town Scottsdale to peruse the shops!

We had scheduled a group tour but there were no other travelers and we were afraid that it would be cancelled. However the company was extremely accommodating and actually provided us the tour with just the two of us, therefore being a private tour. Our tour guide, Corey, was amazing in all ways. She arrived with a smile on her face and took us off to a most wonderful day! We covered everything that Phoenix has to offer and more! Cory's vast amount of knowledge about everything is amazing! She added so many insights to the area and took us to the main highlights and the off the beaten track fun spots! We asked her a million questions and she patiently answered every one and then some. The tour was amazing in that it covered he entire city and its surroundings. We learned so much, and had so many laughs and great conversations about everything Southwest. We 100 recommend this tour and Corey too!

We had an excellent tour guide and enjoyed our excursion very much. Our guide a woman whose name I can't recall unfortunately covered a lot of territory and provided a wide range of interesting information. It was convenient being picked up at our hotel from there we saw some highlights of downtown Phoenix including the baseball stadium and a stop at the historic state capitol building where you could walk around and take photos. We drove up past the museum district to the posh Biltmore Estate area and up to the Camelback mountain and castle with a beautiful scenic view. We drove though a couple large parks and through Paradise Valley spectacular homes all the while our guide provided interesting narration and answered questions. The guide wore a headset microphone and I was sitting in the second row and could hear fine however, my mom who is hard of hearing was sitting further back and said it was hard to hear at times. The tour culminated in Scottsdale where we had 40 minutes on our own to stretch our legs, eat ice cream or snacks, and shop in the heart of old town Scottsdale. The guide then drove us back in heavy rush hour traffic to our respective hotels. I gave her a nice tip because she did such a good job and was the reason the tour was so worthwhile.
