Our tour guide Anna was very personable and knowledgeable on the subject. Although there is very little remaining of the rich history of the Jews of Portugal, Anna did her best to show us what had been and make it come alive. The highlight was the discovery of the remnant of an ancient synagogue in a current aged care home.

Our tour guide Jose was wonderful! He was full of knowledge with a sense of humor. He made our 3 hours feel like only a “ taste “ of history leaving us with wanting much more. I highly recommend this tour to get a full history of the Jews past in Portugal.

This was exceptional - one of the highlights of our trip. Jose Francisco Chaves was a superb guide. His great love of Porto and history and his enthusiasm for sharing it made this tour a really unforgettable experience . Exploring the city in such detail made me feel like I really knew it. I can't recommend this tour strongly enough. You won't find this information in any tour books.

Jose was a really great tour guide. He was knowledgeable and very friendly. Even though the tour was suppose to Jewish centric in nature, he was wiling to talk about the history of Porto too. If you're interested in learning about the Jewish history of Porto you can't go wrong with this tour.

terrible tour a waiste of time , We could find all the info provide by Youtube for much less money. Please hire a jewish person who knows a little bit of the jewish history in Portugal .

Excellent tour guide, and excellent walking tour of central Porto, though Jewish heritage artifacts are minimal.
