A stone throw away from the historic centre of Rome, is a lovely neighborhood, where your host lives. As a professional linguist and a private chef, she would like to welcome you to her very own home, for an authentic Italian cooking class, where you get to learn how to prepare homemade pasta (fettuccine, gnocchi and lasagna) or pizza, right in a typical Italian home kitchen. She will share with you her grandmother's traditional recipes and tips that has been passed down for several generations, and also share stories about Italian food, culture and tradition in a relaxed and homely ambiance. If you are looking for a different style of cooking class, where it is not conducted in a professional studio, but at an actual kitchen where you could really absorb the knowledge and skills you learn, then you've come to the right place.

After the cooking class, you will get to enjoy the meal with your host at her dining table, where you get to share stories with each other, and simply learn about the Italian way of life- La Dolce Vita.

- a 3-course menu
- pasta, pizza and dessert

We enjoyed the class. Francesca is personable and very informative. We were involved from start to finish. She also has beautiful cats.

What a fun evening. Francesca was friendly and engaging and knew her stuff. She was a good instructor but that was just part of the fun. We also met some new folks and had a great meal besides --- one we make ourselves, with a little help from Francesca. This is really an experience worth having.

Francesa welcomed us into her home so graciously. She prepared a meal plan that met the needs of my picky eaters 8 and 10 year old. The class itself was a relaxed, wonderful experience. My 8 year old son, unexpectedly, got right in the action. We even had to pull him away to let the rest of us have a turn : We picked up great tips from Francesca that we are excited to bring back home and use a family. Overall, this class was one of the highlights of our 3 week vacation. A must do with your loved ones. Say hello to Francesca for me! Monica

Francesca has a great personality, but is also a good teacher in that she is not afraid to correct mistakes. We made ravioli stuffed with ricotta and salmon, lasagne with some pesto, cheese, and a white sauce, and simple spaghetti noodles with tomato and garlic sauce. We were exposed to several techniques, and ate a lot of delicious food. I would recommend this to others.

We had a wonderful time with Francesca! It was an experience we will never forget. My 14 year old son loved making pizza from scratch and can't wait to show off his new skills to our family. He is ready to come back to Rome so Francesca can teach him how to make pasta next! Thank you!

Fantastic food and host. Very flexible with our booking. Out of all the things we did in Rome this was hands down the most enjoyable evening we had!
