We chose this tour because it was the only one we could book of less than 4 hours. We had a 6 pm experience and were taking the train from Munich. Easy walk to find the meeting place for this tour. Quickly traveled in a small van around the old area of Salzburg and our guide was informative and entertaining, though most of the information was related to the movie version of Sound of Music. We learned of Salzburg’s history as an independent nation, and church/state. We chose the option of cake and coffee and the setting was spectacular. The coffee and strudel were very good. My rating is based not on lack of quality but on duration. We left to tour at 3:05 and were dropped for coffee at 3:45.

We were treated to an excellent trip round Salzburg with Max as a guide. He was very informative and knowledgeable. There is so much to see and be told about. The only slight downside was that the coffee and cake part of the ticket included the lift but we didn't realise that.

Intimate tour setting, it was our guide Luciano, our family of four, and another guest. Good overview of everything in Salzburg, but wished we had more time in the city to follow up on what we saw and learned. Coffee or other hot beverages and cake or strudel were served in a restaurant overlooking the old town of Salzburg breathtaking views. Though we had a nice day, it may be prone to poor weather.

This was a small group tour. The minibus. We went to different parts of Salzburg. The guide was good. The coffee and cake also tasty. The view from the cafe terrace exciting.
