I am a semester abroad student in Seoul, so I decided to learn how to cook Korean. And this was the best tour/cooking class I could imagine to learn it. We started with a walk across the biggest market for groceries, spices and traditional medicine in Korea. Afterward, we walked to a lovely cooking studio which is nearby the market. We'd been a group out of 6 people and everybody was able to make different experiences within the cooking class. The chef's/instructors had been really friendly and nice to us! I definitely recommend this tour, it was a great expierience and I now have all the receipts I need to cook the korean food back home. Thank you !:)

Our flight was very delayed for more than 6 hours hence not able to catch up with our 10am cooking class schedule, however, Chef Min-seon of OME Cooking Lab was very kind enough to accommodate us for the 2pm class. It was interesting to go around the market and much more interesting to be immersed in some Korean cooking under her. I have attended a cooking class here in Korea last February but this one under OME Cooking Class superceded far ahead. We did Samyetang Chicken, Kimchi, pancakes, side dishes. We were even served unlimited orange drinks. I would recommend ONLY THIS for a very organized cooking experience. DEFINITELY MORE THAN 5 STARS RATING. I would give a TEN THUMBS UP! Thank you Chef Min-seon and your staff! Keep up the good works!

We were unexpectedly surprised by the informative tour of the market and of Medicine Street. Our guide was so friendly and knowledgeable. Cooking and eating our meal in the cooking lab was also greatly enjoyed. We learned a lot and would enjoy taking another class the next time we return to Seoul. Grateful for the pictures and recipes emailed to us afterwards, and we look forward to trying to recreate the meal at home. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to learn more about Korean culture and cooking.

This is a very enjoyable experience. The course was conducted in a traditional Hanok near a large traditional wet market in Seoul. There were 6 people in the class from 4 countries, what a melting pot. The cooking teacher and her two assistants work so seamlessly in introducing all the ingredients, switching utensils and could see they have very good experience and know what they are doing. The class was conducted in English in combination with some food history of Korea. Is a very hands-on session, all students are given tasks to prepare and cook together. The menu that day was Kimchi making, two types of Pajeon, Bossam, Doenjang-jjigae, and Japchae. The teacher gave us many cooking tips that otherwise we may never know the knowhow. The session highlight is eating the completed meal together. It was exceptionally delicious. The market tour was also very interesting to see some of the ingredients that are only available in Korea. Some students in our class signed up a few different sessions to get a good knowledge of Korean cooking. I will do the same next time.

My friends and I had a fun time learning how to cook Korean foods and walking around the market. Chef/guide(Minseon) was proficient in English and we easily understand the lesson. The foods cooked were our lunch and it was delicious. I highly recommend this gourmet tour/lesson.

Nice group cooking class. You don't get to cook individual recipes yourself, you take part with the group. So if you like that style of cooking class this is good. VERY clean, beautiful kitchen, historic markets nearby. Plan to spend the rest of your day wandering around the markets! After class, I had to go to doctor's appointment and the teacher took me all the way to the taxi and explained to him my destination. Very good service and kind teacher.
