The Alhambra is gorgeous and 1000% worth seeing. Moreover, our guide at the the Alhambra (Fernando) was excellent- professional, knowledgeable and kind. However, the bus experience and the guide on the bus were less than ideal. They had one stop at a site too crowded to have breakfast so there was no getting food until lunch, which got delayed cause the second group (4 people) was late. They could have sent a cab for them but instead kept like 40 people hungry and wasted our time in the city. I feel like I could have gotten more out of the trip with a little more free time to explore. Moreover, the albaicin part was a huge letdown, it was basically just a photo op, very little background was given. Moreover the guide who was with us on the bus barely said anything in 6 hours of bus travel so no value add there.

The guide in the bus, Roman, was excellent. His voice was cool and he was very knowledgeable. He connected well with us. He knew when to let us rest and when to give us information. The bus stop at halfway is also very good. Albaichin is a lovely town worth the visit. Food was also very good at Café Gabriel. The guide in Alhambra was also very knowledgeable but he was just giving information without charm. The palace is a great monument but has lost its glory. One visit is enough.

Alhambra Palace and Albaicin Walking Tour is a must do attraction for those interested in history and architectural beauties from the past. Our Guide Ms Petra from Andalsur Tours (From Seville to Granada and Albaicin Walking Tour ) was extremely energetic, friendly and helpful while Mr Fernando the Local guide for Granada Alhambra Palace was extremely informative and efficient.. Loved the trip inspite of the heat.

We were very impressed with the level of organization and care that went into this. Despite it being a long day, due to the driving distance, the excursion didn't feel exhausting. The Alhambra is a MUST SEE, and we highly recommend this company. They did a great job! Our tour guide at the Alhambra itself, Gustavo, was absolutely wonderful.

What a great trip! Very well organized. Our guide Pablo was very knowledgeable, relatable and funny. It’s a full day trip, so he made sure to keep us moving at a comfortable pace. Alhambra is a fairy tale, the walk was great. I’ll go back in a heartbeat

The Alhambra Palace is definitely worth the trip. This tour wasn't. The guide spoke rapidly funny English. By the time we figured out what word he meant we'd lost the meaning the the sentence. We are actually used to people speaking accented English. He also walked two rapidly. Not only did he not pause long enough to keep the group together but he didn't warn the group when he was moving to a new location. Two members of our group got left behind and later 5 of us didn't realize the group was moving. It wasn't until we complained that he actually counted the number of the group that he was responsible to keep together. What a concept. The descriptions were so bad that the blind person on the tour got no value. The sound system on the ground was poor. The one on the bus didn't function at all. Our bus guide also was difficult to understand.

My wife and I had a great time on this tour. We met at nearby hotel at 7:15am (5 minute walk from out hotel) and boarded a very nice charter bus. The drive to Granada was just over 3 hours, but we found it relaxing after a busy few days in Seville. We would highly recommend the walking tour, which takes place in the nicest part of the city and offers great views of the Alhambra. It's a fairly long day in total (12-13 hours), but it wasn't nearly as exhausting as we expected.

Nice consolidated tour though other than visiting the moorish quarters in Granada, there was no actual visit in the city of Granada. Worth the trip nonetheless.

If you have an extra day in Seville, you should definitely book this tour! My friend and I are so glad we did. It was very well-organized. Our tour guide Pablo was very good and informative (Pablo, if you're reading this, it was a pleasure having you as our guide :D ). We had a different guide within Alhambra itself. His name was Gustavo and he was lovely as well (Gustavo, if you can see this, we're so happy you were our guide at Alhambra. Not all guides are like you)! After touring Alhambra, you have the option to do the Albacin walking tour or have lunch at Granada at your own pace. My friend and I chose the latter. I highly recommend this tour :)

Awesome tour. Guide on the bus as well as the Alhambra Palace were great. I skipped the option walking tour as we were hungry and needed break for lunch. The bus was very comfortable and cozy and the ride was quite good. We really liked the AlHambra Palace tour very much and glad we took this tour. I gave one star less as we were given less time at the end of the Alhambar tour to catch the bus and literally had to run with one person in our group who had difficulty walking. We were late due to the tour ending late and not our fault. The bus guide was loud and rude if anyone was late by even couple of minutes. Otherwise, everything was good throughout.

I've been to alot of tours, with Viator and otherwise (including in Germany, Italy, so I know what to expect. That said, the day started with a person that could barely speak English picking us up, and once we got to the location, we started with the Albacin walking tour, which barely showed us anything before showing us to a lunch location that was overpriced. We then went to the Alhambra, which, while the palace was decent, the tour guide added focused a little too hard on specific individuals that kept talking to her, rather than addressing the whole group. We then reached back at 10 pm, an entire hour later than we were supposed to, to a town that was mostly closed without us having resolved our dinner. I would highly recommend giving Granada a proper try if you are in the area, but not with this tour.

We booked this tour through Viator to include transportation/guide from Seville and then a guided tour of Alhambra. We were asked to meet early morning in front of Andusal Tours (the local operator) in Seville. A representative was a little late to meet us, having just gotten out of the shower and explaining that our tour guide was sick and she would walk us to the bus. She didn’t know what was going to happen, but said they’d “figure it out”. We then rode, with 4 others, on a bus 3 hours to Granada with a driver who spoke no English. We were dropped off at a location other than what was shown on a map hurriedly given to us in the morning by the Andusal rep. The driver kept saying to meet “aqui” which we did, at the appropriate meeting time. There was no bus, just us and one other couple. We called the number we were given to state that no bus had arrived. Finally a small bus showed up (with the other 2 people, who had received a phone call telling them where to catch the bus). We were rather chastised by the man from Granavision (I think) about how they never meet at the spot where we had waited. Not sure how we would know that… Once we got to Alhambra, we had a great tour of the site with our guide Victor. He was knowledgeable and entertaining. We caught the bus back to Seville with no difficulty and arrived back on time.

This started as a bad day. They advertise pick up starting 6 - 615 am at their office. But its totally wrong. Pickup was 6:45 to 7 pm. Fortunately, I waited - and the trip got much better. Beautiful countryside, an excellent tour guide. The Alhambra should be on everyones "bucket list" - it is utterly awesome. I would have given this 5 stars, except for the initial mix up on departure time.

I was originally apprehensive on making the 3-hour trip (per way) from Sevilla, but seeing the Alhambra with your own eyes is worth the effort! I just stumbled upon this tour from Viator and booked it hoping it would be a good tour. The Albaicin walking tour was alright, the operator could have done a better job at managing the time as well as the dual language (Spanish and English). When we go to the Alhambra a different tour guide (Victor) took over and brought us around the Alhambra. If you can, book this and make sure you get Victor as your tour guide. He is both funny and informative. Great experience!

We had a local guide for Alhambra and he was excellent. Loved the visit and would highly recommend it. The Albaicin walking tour was given by the guide who came with us on the coach. It consisted of about 30 minutes of round trip to the viewing platform to take beautiful photos of Alhambra palace from the opposite hill. No information about Albaicin was given, and we even didn't go down to Albaicin itself. Reading other's people reviews I can see that some had an opposite experience: bad with the palace and very good with walking tour. We were very lucky with Alhambra guide, so happy about the trip overall. The organisation part, the coach, timing - all was very good, no complains there.

The Good - Skip The Line, courteous, somewhat knowledgeable. The bad - meat market. Cram as many people as you can into each group. Terrible sound system, unless you were up the guide's butt, you missed the whole description. Mentioned it multiple times to the poor guide. NOT his fault, greedy The Alhambra Management. Never Again

The tour guide was unprofessional and condescending to a couple with a baby. The optional "Walking Tour" consisted of a shoddy attempt at lunch and a brief walk up to a view point. The entrance to Alhambra was subcontracted to another operator and was chaotic from start to finish. This is the worst experience I have had in dozens of these type events.

This was an amazing trip! Alberto was a fantastic guide and brought the whole place alive for us. There is so much to see and learn. Really enjoyed this day!

It was an unforgettable experience ! Without this group tour, I don;t think I can manage the time to see all the best parts of Granada in one day. They picked us up at hotel and drop us off at places of our most convenience. It was a long day, yet we were well guided and treated. Our tour guide Petra made the whole trip joyful and meaningful. Humorous, attentive and knowledgeable, she is the asset of Viator.. Thank you!!

I highly recommend this tour. It was excellent value for the money!Three hour bus ride to/from with a short break half way through. Our guide pointed out interesting facts along the way and let us rest for some time (which, trust me, you'll need!).Upon arriving to the Alhambra, everything was highly organized! We broke into smaller groups and were informed on how to meet after the tour (so easy!). The tour guide was FANTASTIC! Knowledgeable and friendly, and I felt like I left really knowing the history. I would suggest doing the optional walking tour. We had about an hour for lunch on our own (go to Aixa for a beer and tapas!) and then met the guide to stroll the streets and see the famous view. It was worth the extra fee. I think after the busy morning at Alhambra, I would be lost/bored wandering on my own. The cost of transportation, entrance fees, and tour guides knowledge made this a great value. I wish I also did this for Cordoba.-A solo traveler in my late 30s

Great day. Long - 13+ hours. But everything went smoothly. Petra kept us all in line with good humor. I had a great guide at Alhambra; not sure everyone else in our group from Seville had such a great experience with the assigned official guide.

We really enjoyed this tour! Both our bus guide Pepe and local guide Gustavo were amazing! Gustavo was entertaining and kept us moving, but we felt rushed. There was not a lot of time to take photos and just enjoy the beautiful Alhambra palace. If you have more time during your travel in Spain, then we recommend you to spend an entire day here and do a self-guided tour. However, if you only have one day for Granada, then this is a great option! We definitely recommend taking the optional Albaicin tour. The Albaicin neighborhood is amazing and you will come across a beautiful view of the Alhambra palace.
