This tour was worth every penny and every second!!! Our tour guide was above an beyond exceptional!! I’m sad to say I cannot remember his name, as we met so many people that day. The wineries were very good and the hospitality, amazing! Many bottles of wine were purchased! Whatever you do don’t eat beforehand or plan a big dinner after!! There was food at each stop and the lunch was exceptional and huge!!! In true Tuscany tradition. Our driver/guide was very informative of the surrounding area, wine in general and was a delight to chat with. At the end of a very long day and many of bottles of wine later on our drive back to car he cranked up the radio and the entire van, of 8 sang along with Queen! A memory I’ll never forget. Music is international!! As well as the wine!

This was a great wine tour starting from Siena in Tuscany. Our guide (Ambra) met us at a central point in town and off we went to Montalcino for some great wines to try. We visited vineyards of different sizes and met welcoming hosts there as well. Lunch was at one of the vineyards. We even had time for a stop in the center of Montalcino, which was cute. I recommend this tour to anyone interested in learning more about the Brunello wine of Montalcino :) Hope you get Ambra, she is so fun and nice.

We went on this as a group of 5 (we were paired with one other couple who were absolutely lovely) and had Daniel as our tour guide. It was without a doubt our favorite experience in Italy. The lunch at Cava D’Onice with Simone and Luccia was amazing. Also, we all felt great after drinking red wine all day. Daniel was right ... there is no excuse for drinking bad wine! An unforgettable and amazing day in Montalcino. Thank you, Daniel, Tuscan Escapes, and Viator!

We had a great day on our tour! We got to visit 3 lovely small wineries and even had lunch with one of the owners and his family right in their house. His wife cooked us a great 3 course lunch that we got to enjoy with their wine and olive oil.

This was an extraordinary tour and our guide, Stefano, went above and beyond. He was very knowledgeable about the wine-making process as well as Montalcino. We made an unscheduled stop at a wonderful very old abbey, as well as an extra wine tasting stop at a winery that also had 50 year old balsamic vinegar to taste. The highlight for us was the lunch that was served by the owner of the second winery we stopped at. Molto buono!!

Our guide,Georgia, was amazing. She was knowledgeable and friendly. She made the trip more like seeing family than only wine tasting.
