Después de que su guía le recoja en su hotel de Singapur, prepárese para explorar más de ocho hábitats fluviales en el safari por el río de 12 hectáreas (30 acres), hogar de 5000 animales que representan a más de 300 especies de animales. Por el camino, conocerá los ecosistemas, culturas únicas y la biodiversidad de los ríos más icónicos del mundo.
Mientras camina a través del único parque de fauna y flora fluvial de Asia, descubrirá las exposiciones de agua dulce y aprenderá más cosas sobre su asombrosa flora y fauna. Disfrute de las vistas y sonidos de cada zona río única, y aproveche la oportunidad de un encuentro poco común con algunas de las criaturas que viven allí. Verá el gigante barbo de Mekong en peligro de extinción, así como nutrias gigantes, la salamandra gigante china y la raya de agua dulce gigante.
Visitará el bosque de pandas gigantes de la zona del río zona Yangtze y verá la mayor exposición de pandas del sudeste asiático. Observará Kai Kai y Jia Jia mientras comen, juegan y duermen en una simulación de su hábitat natural en medio de exuberantes plantas, rocas y elementos de agua. En el Amazon Flooded Forest, el acuario de agua dulce más grande del mundo, podrá ver más de 18 especies de animales, incluidos los manatíes y arapaima.
Viaje en barco por el río Amazonas en el Amazonas River Quest, observando el jaguar, el tapir brasileño, capibara, oso hormiguero gigante y mono aullador.
Después de su tour por el río, su guía le llevará al Zoo de Singapur, donde se realiza el primer safari en zoo nocturno. Desde la seguridad del tranvía abierto, recorrerá las 40 hectáreas (98 acres) de la selva secundaria, iluminada suavemente por la luna. Disfrute de la emoción de viajar por el recinto al anochecer, cuando despierta el misterio y el dramatismo de la selva tropical.
Cuando haya contemplado la excitante fauna y flora, desembarque del vehículo de safari y siga a su guía a lo largo de un sendero a pie para tener la oportunidad de ver más animales más de cerca. Pasará un gran embalse y se abrirá paso a través de hábitats especialmente diseñados para replicar el entorno natural, desde las estribaciones del Himalaya a la selva tropical del sudeste asiático y el subcontinente indio.
Su tour termina con el transporte de vuelta a su hotel de Singapur.

We were much happier with doing the zoo during the normal daylight hours. While it was interesting in parts to tour the area at night we found that it made for too long a day and was spoilt on this occasion at least by inconsiderate people. It was also difficult to get a meal as by the time we managed to be dropped off most of the food areas were packed and they were finding it difficult to keep up with the orders and food had often run out.

The tour was very well organized and our tour guide was very friendly and accommodating. The night safari was really worth it and a great experience, as we saw animals out in the open at night.

The river safari was a bit of a misnomer as much of it is walking. There however two boating options included, 1 the river cruise a placid trip around the reservoir wit the highlight being spotting the giraffes and 2 Amazon quest which does highlight some amazing animals. It is worth going around at least twice to see the animals better the second time round. The night safari was on the whole well done and we saw some amazing animals on sensitively lit areas. However the train ride at the time had one stop to begin and another to end with no stops in between. For those with some mobility issues there would be benefit in stopping at each station to hop on and hop off to make the most of the various walking trails.

As always the Night Safari is unique and informative. Combining with the River Safari makes for a very long day. Best to schedule for two different days if you can otherwise priority to the Night Safari.

Did not enjoy this as much as I had hoped. Would not recommend doing both on the one day. Feel the departure from Chinatown was way too early, from memory was 1:30pm, took about 40 plus minutes to get to the Zoo. Once there our guide pointed us to the Entrance Plaza and from there onwards you walk, lots of walking actually. Took a while to get to the Red Pandas and Giant Pandas, photo time and yes, buy your pic with the pandas. On to the River Safari boat, 15 minutes around the waters with nothing much to see. Continuing on through the Wild Amazon, Squirrel Monkeys and the Giant River Otters. Tour Over, its 4:30pm. Now what to do until the Night Safari commences. There was nothing but sitting around for 3 hours, have dinner - don't recommend the KFC - chicken not cooked thoroughly and too much coating. Night Safari did not start until 7:15pm. This was interesting but very rushed, lots of walking and long walks between activities. Impossible for photos - no flashes allowed, venue not really well lit to even be able to see the animals in their night surroundings. Travelled around part of the park in the train, even still not much light provided to see much - disappointed.
