Reúnase con el guía turístico en el punto de encuentro principal o en su hotel para empezar el recorrido de un día a los lagos del Parque Nacional Plitvice. Con un cómodo viaje en monovolumen o autobús con aire acondicionado a través del paisaje rural hacia esta singular joya croata, solo tiene que ponerse cómodo, relajarse y escuchar las interesantes historias de su guía turístico sobre el parque y Croacia.
La unidad y la armonía de los 16 lagos y su raro valor natural y cultural no es solo famoso en toda Croacia, sino también en todo el mundo; ganándose este extraordinario parque nacional un lugar destacado entre los lugares declarados Patrimonio de la Humanidad de la UNESCO. Al llegar a Plitvice, podrá pasear por estos antiguos bosques guiado por un guía experimentado. El guía le mostrará todo el parque caminando a través de la impresionante naturaleza, tomando un tranvía y disfrutando de paseo en barco con bonitas vistas panorámicas. Para recorrer a pie una ruta de unos 5 km, asegúrese de llevar calzado cómodo para caminar y una batería adicional para la cámara, ya que tendrá muchas oportunidades para hacer fotos.
La ruta le lleva a través de Gornja Jezera (lagos superiores) y, a continuación, es el momento para disfrutar de un mágico paseo en barco con el sonido de las cataratas hasta Donja Jezera (lagos inferiores). Dondequiera que se encuentre en Pltivice, es fácil ver por qué sus formaciones de mármol travertino son un extraordinario fenómeno natural. Las barreras, repisas y otras formas creadas en estos lagos, ríos kársticos y arroyos siguen un proceso que forma los magníficos paisajes que hacen que su paseo por el parque sea tan agradable. Son estas mismas formaciones travertinas las que han creado y siguen creando las numerosas y magníficas cataratas aquí. Con el tiempo, el agua cambia su curso, dejando algunas barreras secas mientras se deposita en nuevas capas en otro sitio. Esta constante evolución hace que los lagos de Plitvice nunca parezcan los mismos. La mejor forma de ver realmente cómo sucede es situándose delante de las grandes cataratas, de 78 metros de altura. El estruendo del agua al golpear el suelo es inolvidable.
Su viaje concluye con un viaje en tren panorámico. Después, el guía le sugerirá un restaurante de la zona cercano para disfrutar de un almuerzo opcional y probar algunas especialidades locales. Después de un día memorable en estos espectaculares bosques y lagos, regresará al punto de partida original en Split o Trogir.

This tour was a great way to spend a day at Plitvice. My friend and I considered many angles, such as renting a car or hiring just transportation, for fear the group activity would be hindering, but this turned out enjoyable and much better with the group and guides, as they were relaxing and helpful, and VERY concerned we all had a great, stress free time :) Also, much more cost effective this way than any other option. Of course Plitvice main trails were busy, but it sounds as though that is always an issue regardless of being in a group or not. The restaurant was good as others stated, get the pig on the pit! Expect a long day, bring snacks and drinks, although you can buy water on the bus for five kuna. Tiho and Rocco were awesome, friendly, and made for a stress free time. Thank you both!

My mom and I had an Amazing day. Of course the Park is beautiful. Its like you were entering in paradise . But de also had an increadible day thanks to our guide Igor and out bus driver Tiho (i'am your leader's dad) . Igor gave us Many informations about Croatia, the landscape and Always put poesy in it's words . Thanks you Igor for having made this day even more Magic. As my mother was not sportive, he took his Time and had a slower rythme for her to be confortable. Tiho the driverwas also really nice and so funny. Thank you Guys for both your kindness ans sweetness.

Plitvice lakes are an awesome magical place..one of the best I have seen in all my travel across Europe. Tour was also very nice and about just right in terms duration...though we would have liked it to be much longer with so much beauty around.

This was a terrific day out. Plitvice Lakes and National Park is an amazing place and even though it was snowing and raining this did not hamper our enjoyment. Our guide, Andre, was really nice and very informative. It was a small group of 10 people and this was much better than having a large group of people. The restaurant where we stopped for lunch was lovely and the food very good. I would definitely recommend this trip.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Our guide Igor was fabulous, very well-informed, friendly and spoke multiple languages fluently. The day was long but that was to be expected and it was also very busy in the park this day. However, all ran smoothly and our guide made the clever decision to slightly change up the way in which we navigated through the park in order to avoid the crowds as much as possible. We were very grateful for this as it allowed us to see most of the park in about 4 hours despite the crowds. The park is amazingly beautiful and I would definately recommend this tour.

We visited plitvice lakes and the location was beautiful, but our bus broke down on the way there and the air conditioning did not work. Luckily got a new bus for the way back.. maybe our tour guide could have been a bit more active than he was

The lakes are stunning and you should 100% go! However be warned that the climate is very very different. Take lots of clothes. No one was prepared on our trip we were just told to have a jumper. We had to stop to by hoodies, jackets, leggings and scarves. The tourist shops made a killing.

Our tour was fantastic, not only was our guide deeply knowledgeable, as he was born in Croatia, he made the tour seem like a very interesting history lesson. With red leaves and the clear water, the lakes were actually stunning. Although it was too crowded with too many tourists, and the big waterfall was not as great as I expected, the tour was joyful. Our guide and driver were helpful, polite and so nice. They were knowledgeable and funny, I had a great time traveling with them. And as some fellows have mentioned, though there were lunch time and 2 breaks, we didn't have time have to lunch until 4pm. So do bring your own snacks or fruits or sandwiches if you are worried.
