La visita turística a las Montañas Azules comienza temprano por la mañana con la recogida en su hotel del centro de Sídney desde donde partirá hacia el oeste cruzando el famoso puente del puerto de Sídney para seguir los pasos de los primeros exploradores australianos. El cómodo minibús de 20 plazas garantiza que se trate de una experiencia para grupos y su guía experimentado se encargará de que no se pierda la belleza de las Montañas Azules.

Siga hacia el oeste y sobre las cordilleras hasta el corazón de las Montañas Azules. Desde allí comenzará con un sencillo paseo guiado hasta un espectacular mirador en un acantilado (alejado de las zonas más transitadas) que ofrece espléndidas vistas panorámicas del impresionante Valle Jamison, un paraíso para los fotógrafos con sus escarpados riscos de arenisca de color rosa y teja, y una exuberante selva subtropical a sus pies.

Visite Scenic World, que cuenta con un tren panorámico, una ruta aérea, un teleférico y una pasarela por la selva tropical. Se deslizará entre las cumbres de los acantilados en la ruta aérea panorámica. Con vistas de 360°, el trayecto le ofrece las mejores vistas de las cataratas Katoomba, las Tres Hermanas y el Valle Jamison. Descienda hasta el Valle Jamison en el teleférico, que le ofrece una posición estratégica única para ver las Tres Hermanas, Orphan Rock, Mt Solitary y las cataratas de Katoomba. Descubra la tranquilidad de la antigua selva tropical durante un paseo guiado por la pasarela de la selva tropical.

La siguiente parada es Echo Point, bajo las altísimas Tres Hermanas, guardianas del valle de Jamison, donde podrá sumergirse en la inmensidad de la belleza de la naturaleza.

Por la tarde viajaremos hacia a la reserva natural Featherdale. En esta galardonada reserva natural podrá ver canguros, koalas y emús. También hay cocodrilos, tejones e innumerables especies de aves, así que no se olvide la cámara, ya que habrá muchas oportunidades de alimentar a los canguros.

Complete su excursión de un día en las Montañas Azules con un viaje en un famoso crucero por el río. El trayecto de regreso a la ciudad es un crucero por el río desde la bahía de Homebush, sede de los Juegos Olímpicos de Sídney, viajando a lo largo del famoso río Parramatta, un importante río de la historia colonial de Australia. Tour Operator should have known school holiday wristband options were in effect which woukd have avoided us getting pulled off gondola and saved us about 10-15 minutes. Steve our guide was great tho. A few too many stops...some with too much time (people all back on coach early) and a few with too little.

Tour started out a little disappointing. 2 hour drive to start out the day. and several pick up spots after us at 7:00 am. But once we got to the blue mountains and the sun was shining bright. The day went really nice. Our guide was very nice and talkative. We had several photo stops. A lot of walking to be aware of for those with limitations. This did not affect us but did affect a couple of others with us who decided to stay back at a few stops. Feather dale Zoo was great but would have loved to have had more time there. Our lunch stop was also very good. We ordered ahead of time and it was almost ready when we arrived. About 5 things to chose from. Fish and chips were awesome.

Entertaining driver took us two hours into the Blue Mountains, rode two trams, hiked several small trails to scenic waterfalls, delicious lunch in Leura with time to explore this small village, cruise back from Olympic Park on the clean well-runferry.

POSITIVES - convenient pick up; small group; comfortable coach; excellent driver/guide (Ian) - very friendly and knowledgeable; nice lunch (included); Featherdale Wildlife Park was excellent, especially feeding the kangaroos and photo with koala; great scenery in the mountains - once the mist cleared!NEGATIVES - we were unlucky to have a misty start to the day, so there was nothing to see at the first few lookout spots in the mountains; the walk through the bush wasn't my cup of tea and took too long (but to be fair, our guide was killing time until the mist cleared)

We really loved this tour! Our guide Adam was awesome and you could tell how much he loved his job! He was so knowledgeable and so much fun! The only thing I could comment on is that I could have enjoyed staying at the zoo an hour more and an hour less in the nature part. The animal part was too short for me. Otherwise an awesome tour! Well recommended!!
