Enjoyed Hanging Bridges. Saw plenty of animals, including many that we would never have spotted without the knowledgeable guide. Lunch was very good. The volcano hike was a very short walk to a lookout point to see the side of a volcano. You are not allowed to hike on the volcano, so the description of the tour should be updated to indicate you view a volcano. I believe we were supposed to do the full trail, but the guide was walking very slowly and stopped often to talk. It seemed like she did not want to do the hike.

A long day starting with the hanging bridges trip with amazing views of Arenal volcano to start with. Our guide had incredible knowledge- she pointed out snakes, various birds, bats, flowers the bridges were amazing to walk across- best part of the tour. Waterfall hike was a nice climb and beautiful for pics but a little short to actually take a dip volcano hike was interesting with good flowers and trees pointed out hot springs were incredible- it rained in the evening and the water was really rejuvenating topped off with sumptuous buffett.

Good tour - could have been much better if it was clubbed with an actual guide! Nonetheless still a good tour to consider!

Allen and Hugo were excellent guides. Highly recommend this tour to all visiting Cost Rica. Hanging bridges were amazing, followed by the spectacular waterfall. Lunch was quite tasty and welcoming after the morning. The hike was strenuous but Allan was so knowledgeable about CR and the history that it was well worth it. The next day my calves were quite sore. Be warned! Highly recommend this and try to get Allen as your tour guide.

The van picked us up late. Then sat parked by the lake for 15 minutes waiting for something that was never explained to us. We arrived at the park and were directed to our group. The guide told us we had kept the group waiting for 40 minutes and that the group was upset with us for keeping them waiting. I explained that I had gotten up at 5:30 am showered eaten breakfast and been kept waiting. And how dare he blame me for the delay. Especially in front of the group! Then Reynoldo or Bernardo, I can't remember his name was huffy and really only addressed one of the members of our small group, a somewhat attractive woman. Other guides were talkative and helpful. He was surly unpleasant. He was more of a thug than tour guide. Grudgingly and occasionally pointing things out. Things improved slightly by the end of the day when our group grew. This after an older man was struggling with his heart since we climbed the stairs 500 meters up from the waterfall. He just kept saying ok let's get going as the man sat couldn't do much of anything.
