Though the weather was not good but we enjoyed a lot in this trip. We have seen lots (300) of reindeers and feed them. This Samipeople are really brave, not because they are living in such difficult situation but because they save those reindeers in winter. The global warming causing a lot to the nature and these innocent animals are also suffer for that. This is a good try for all of us to help those animals by booking this tour. These sami people take care of them in winter and oragnized this tour. In summer they let the reindeers go back to their wild life. I will highly reccomend to do this tour if you are visiting Norway. Chasing light is not only the fun there.

Brilliant few hours feeding reindeer and going on a slay ride. Must do when in Tromso but be warned it is expensive but everything is expensive in Norway so take loads of money - you will need it!

Excellent tour. Family business with a very personal, friendly and informative tour. Well organised and run. The reindeer were very friendly and enthusiastic too....

I would recommend this unique experience to anyone travelling through northern Norway, especially if you have kids. We were able to start interacting with the reindeer almost immediately. The local Sami herders gave a good description on how to best feed the animals and let us get to it. There was plenty of opportunities for pictures and to interact with the reindeer. They were friendly and would just walk up to you! After you were done feeding them, the hospital Sami people provided lunch as they interacted with all their guests. They were very nice to talk with and it was interesting to hear their perspective. From what I understand, they've only recently started opening up their land for tours so it's all still very new to them. With lunch finished, they led us into one of their lavvus and talked about the Sami way of life. I found the talk interesting, especially since they treated us to some of their joiks, which is a form of singing. They lead us back outside to throw lassos onto reindeer antlers before we headed back to Tromso.
