Clase de máscaras del Carnaval de Venecia

Curso de producción
Un maestro artesano de Venecia le explicará la antigua técnica de elaboración de máscaras venecianas en papel maché y le dará información sobre el uso de las máscaras durante siglos en Venecia. Al final del curso, se llevará a casa la máscara como recuerdo especial.
En el curso de producción de la máscara, deberá volver al laboratorio después de unas horas para recoger la máscara, ya que el proceso de secado lleva tiempo; la máscara creada no estará decorada.
Curso de decoración
Un maestro artesano de Venecia será su decorador experto y le explicará cómo pintar y decorar su máscara, además de darle información sobre el uso de las máscaras durante siglos en Venecia. Elegirá una máscara para decorarla durante el curso y, al final, se llevará a casa la máscara como recuerdo especial.
- Un maestro artesano de Venecia le explicará durante el curso de 1 hora el arte tradicional de elaborar o decorar una máscara.
- Curso de producción (se quedará la máscara elaborada) y/o curso de decoración (se quedará la máscara decorada)
- Todos los suministros y pinturas necesarios
- Recogida en el hotel
- Recibirá confirmación en un plazo de 48 horas a partir de la fecha de reserva, siempre que haya disponibilidad
- Esta excursión no es completamente accesible para personas en silla de ruedas o con problemas para andar
- Máximo de 6 personas por curso
- Sugerimos llevar ropa adecuada
- Si su grupo tiene menos 6 personas, la excursión no se considera privada, sino que podría compartirse con otros visitantes que no pertenecen al mismo grupo y podría ser bilingüe
- No se realiza en caso de marea alta excepcional (en estos casos puede aplazarse a los días posteriores o, de lo contrario, se le reembolsará el dinero)

Our family of 5 (3 kids aged 11, 8 and 6) loved the mask making experience. The workshop area is small and busy but we all managed to make our own unique masks under a fun and relatively relaxed setting. Watching the master decorate and transform our masks into the final product was a real treat. Thank you for the uniquely Venetian experience.
We got a little lost finding the shop but once we were there, Nico made us feel right at home. We were able to pick our mask and paint the base layers, then Nico finished off the decorations. They almost look professional! It was a great experience and we loved talking about the art of mask making. Highly recommend this class!!
To our surprise, the mask decorating class was one of the highlights of our trip to Venice. It was wonderful meeting Giorgio and his son who helped us craft beautiful Venetian masks. We felt extra lucky as we had some extra time to work on our masks which Giorgio kindly accommodated us. The results were spectacular and we would recommend this activity to anyone who wants a unique take-a-way from their time in Venice.

This was so much fun! The insights and explanations that we got plus the tips on how to make our masks better were great. We all chose to do the glitter at the end and it was worth it. My seven year old son and i had a great experience. Perfect amount of time for his interest level. Very friendly and helpful. It was a fun memento to take home.
We lived the mask painted no class. Giorgio was very attentive and helpful, and did a masterly job finishing our masks.
This was lots of fun! You get to choose your mask we elected to just paint pre-prepared masks, not make our own as that is a two day process - and paint it any way you want. They assist with making adding some wow factor once you've gotten it painted. Takes about an hour to an hour and half - then about another 1/2 hour to dry before you can pick it up. Shop and business is family owned - really friendly and gave clear direction and assistance.
This was a most unique and entertaining way to spend time in Venice. Nico was quite informative and helpful in the creation and completion of our masks. We were very pleased with our completed masks. The atmosphere was so old world which added to our experience. It was amazing!
