I enjoyed this fun adventure! Our tour guide was very nice and helpful. The sceneries were breathtaking!
My daughter and I took this trip and really enjoyed it mainly because of our tour guide. Robert made everything so interesting and we got more info than we ever bargained for! He really enjoys his job and it shows. There were only 5 of us in the van which made it really nice. If one ever gets the chance to get Robert for your guide you will be very lucky. When the tour ended I felt like he was a part of our family. Thanks again
Fabulous day out reminiscing about the Sound of Music whilst travelling through the stunning scenery heading to Salzburg. Definitely a must if you visit Austria. Our guide Rui was fabulous and very knowledgeable
We spent a lot of time on the road which would have been ok if the tour guide provided more guiding and shared more history.
It was the perfect way to enjoying the city of Salzburg for a first timer. I can't wait to go back now knowing more about the city.
This trip is well worthwhile. Fortunately we had a sunny day - though cool - and a very good guide - Robert - who always kept us informed about where we were, places to observe and sights to see when on our free time. Salzburg is a must visit place if time permits and even though the return journey by auto is long, it is absolutely worthwhile. Enjoy.
Salzburg is a beautiful old city. The guide pointed out areas of interest and told us how to get there. We were not able to locate all the sites we were hoping to find. The guide explained the history and provided information on many sites but left us to find much on our own. Transportation was comfortable and it was nice to be picked up and dropped off at our Hotel in Vienna. I was hoping that the guide would have provided more information on the Sound of Music Sights. Many of the guests were asking about these but we had to hunt them down on our own.
A day trip not to be missed! Like it here. Beautiful Salzburg with nice day and wheather. Cheerful driver. Make my day! Still sad actually, after a stolen wallet in Brastilava.
We have an enjoyable ride with our tour guide and driver - Robert. Everything was explained in full details. Completely worth the entire tour.
Our driver-cum-guide of the day was Joseph. He was kind and attentive . We were given ample of free time to visit the old town of Salzburg. The only thing was the driver should use hand free speaker while driving for safety purpose.
We allowed an extra day whilst in Vienna to do this day trip. We have previously done this trip before, and scheduled it in for a lovely relaxing drive from Vienna to Salzburg. We were picked up at our hotel in a mini bus. We had a few stops along the way, which broke the journey. Although our guide was a little hard to understand, we had an enjoyable day. We went on a Sunday and many shops were closed, but the Christmas markets were just beautiful. It is lovely just to wander around Salzburg in the free few hours we had there. This trip is a worthwhile day trip from Vienna, as it is also a part rest day driving to and fro, if you have a busy active travel schedule as we had! Salzburg is a must to visit if you can.
A pleasant enjoyable day trip. Our tour guide Robert was very knowledgeable that was very well demonstrated during the day.
Salzburg is beautiful and worth the visit. Our guide picked us up and dropped us off at our door. He was very knowledgeable and fun! On the way up we also stopped at a fabulous rest area that served fresh baked everything! I would recommend this tour!
The ride was smooth and we saw great areas. What a beautiful city and town old and new. We had enough time on our own, I recommend this tour. Worth the money.
Hotel pickup and small group (8 people) were much appreciated. Informative (if occasionally inaccurate, factually) tour with plenty of time to explore on your own. Both Old and New Town Salzburg are beautiful and well worth the visit.
